a facebook like suggestion

should make it so you are able to 'tag' someone in your thread so they view it.

especially if you know they're knowledgeable on the topic or may be interested in it.

like facebook, tagging someone in a post

of course you can send someone a message but just writing their name like @Ythan making a notification to them that you want them to view your thread

if ythan accepts this idea, i would like mod status so i will never be banned for bullshit reasons again. thank you

I've had the tagging idea before. I can only imagine the ensuing troll-tagging...

Your request to be mod disqualifies you be default. But being an OPT-OUT made it impossible anyway.
