 I've got a full free day, what should I do?

All of my backlogged plans and projects no longer seem interesting. I am open to suggestions. This is anonymous because I want to ask if there is anything worth seeing or doing around my area? Greensboro, NC. I have no close friends (around here), but enough money for a good day trip. I have a few semi-friends that I could maybe gather into a group if there was a good reason to congregate (e.g. a beer tasting festival, a free concert in the park, etc.) but no one I feel comfortable really being completely myself around. So, I am looking for probably something to do solo. And to any Carolinians here...no I don't want to go see the fucking Biltmore. 
Fuck, I should have lined up a couple dates for the weekend and possibly have gotten some action...that sounds pretty awesome right about now.

Can't believe you're in the same city as me.. go to Sessions Coffee House on Spring Garden and have some of their beers on draft. They have one of the most stellar collections of taps in town.
