Right now is my fucking problem. My body is tense and uncomfortable, there is no peace in it. I can stop my thoughts, I've been practicing non-thought for years and it does nothing. What is so fucking great about right now? This is Dan Milman all over again, no ordinary moments, what crap. These con-artists get rich giving people false hope, well done for them. No such thing as presence or transcending time.

All these 'teachers' cover the symptoms of merely not 'knowing' the one Reality - Yourself. And don't look for it - who is to find who if You are all there is? It's NOT a mystery, it is NOT hiding from you. It simply is... and if you're hurting try to take it easy. You're doing it wrong.
And most of them are hacks, yes. Eckhart Tolle seems to be one to me. His mannerisms, speech, regurgitated ideas and what not... it all sells, but the Truth is far too SIMPLE to make a teaching out of it. What sort of Reality would it be if you had to learn how to 'get there'? It would not be Reality at all. So I just ignore teachers except the ones with nice personalities, simply because I like the personalities, as I know there is nothing to learn.
You can say it is perfect though. It is perfect because the Self transcends the human mind, which is limited. The Self is unlimited, and thus cannot be caught at work. Abiding in the Self, which is a name for a set of behaviors opposite to searching and wanting, there is no fear, no doubt, no thing, only perfect sense. "The Truth is so simple..." -Ramana Maharshi.
Stop reading, stop playing with the mind which vanishes in the Self when you come off the game of 'mind', start being yourself. Stop searching, stop wanting, stop the negativity and extremes.
Liberty is right there in front of you, and it's no trick.
But it does seem to be a process of assimilation of the mind into the Self for a little while. This is mostly because you have to blend into society and function too. You have to learn to balance the vanishing mind, until it is good to function when you need it and willingly disappears when you don't. This is just my experience though. I know what the sages are saying but I want some piece of the pie out there, to a degree...

Hey I quit Abilify (anti-psychotic)! Shit wasn't cool. The antidepressant offsets my shitty upbringing, gives me a chance to change the negative into positive.
'Sif deride me for taking meds. Mean old man.

Try taking a few really deeps breaths and see if you feel any better. What causes you to be tense? What are you anxious about? Is it something effecting you right now, or is it something in the future?

Isn't that a personalism?
