Do you ever think God is talking to you? Crisis related

I mean, when I'm stoned as shit I always feel like messages are just planted in my head. While they may be from unconscious activity, they always resemble a sort of revelation. I've also started having religious dreams. I have been Christian up to this point, but in my most recent dream I was about to die in a helicopter crash and I started saying the Islamic declaration of faith. WTF?!? I'm definitely having an existential crisis. I'm not sure what to do or what I believe. None of this is from psychological illness, I am currently in graduate school, I have a lot of stress, and am recently 'finding' myself.

These guys talked to god too.
But to answer your question, yes I have spoken to god and had many interactions with him although I am not religeous in anyway.

Sorry OP but it kinda sounds to me like you are early-stage schizophrenic. I had a mate go schizo and this is exactly the kind of stuff he started talking about. don't get scared, he's fine now as long as he keeps taking his meds

well maybe that will give an improper context but it mainly happens upon deep introspection, which is obviously triggered when one consumes marijuana. once this supposed 'revelation' thing happens i work myself into a panic attack and i realize entirely this sounds insane. i feel like there are too many hints, or too many signs, that keep happening around me as if trying to direct me to a certain belief/place/ideology.
i turn to shroomery because i am deathly afraid to tell anyone this for fear of being called crazy. a little background on me, i do psychedelics somewhat often (maybe 8x a year), i am pursuing a phd, i do work in mathematics and other abstract type studies. no history of illness, violence, abuse, etc. i literally feel like God is trying to direct me towards a certain path, i know that you can't just pretend to be ignorant of these signs. there are more which i don't feel i need to go into detail but they happen enough i has caused me to post on a message board.
is this board only visited by atheists? i am not sure if i should go to see an imam because i obviously like very haram things, such as hallucinating.

The last thing you need is some towelhead fucker giving you bullshit advice and feeding your delusions.
There's nothing wrong with the occasional delusional thought patterns as long as you still recognize them as such, which you seem to do.
Maybe take a little break from herb/psychs? A little moderation never did nobody no harm.
I also hate shrinks, but it sounds like you might benefit from some anti-psychotics. You don't have to share every thought with some quack, but tell him enough to have something to go on.
To answer the question, no, god is not talking to you or anybody else. If there was an eternal sky-daddy I would hope he had more important shit to do than send coincidences and signals to some talking apes on a floating backwater rock.

Yes, I've thought that before. But, it's just another part of your mind. Replace "God" with "Tod" and it sort of puts things in perspective.

I believe god is just a concept to explain things that we don't understand. i get signs( or synchronicities) all the time, although i don't particularly believe in a 'god'. interpret these things the way you want to and use it to your advantage. I think it may also be that your sub-conscience has a plan for you and it's trickin you into doing what it wants by making you think that god's telling you what to do. I'm sure it has the best intentions so i say go with the flow man

how can a sub-conscience have a plan? as if it is under it's own sovereign agency and is quietly deducing intentions for me to fulfill in the future. why are people so afraid to use God as a premise? it's really a sad and shallow existence for those who think that the experience of humanity is ALL there is to life; that the entire creation, with the physical laws, the coherence of forces, and the natural beauty, is nothing but a mere coincidence. for shame.

I don't like to use God as a premise because there is too much room for error. there are too many connotations to that word. My belief is actually that we are god and that we can also get signs from god from external forces as well bc it's all god. others may imagine god to be something totally different. and there are also variations like omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence. you can never really know what someone means when they use the word god. I actually agree with what you are saying but i guess i was misunderstood. and i believe that the sub-conscience can have a plan bc i consider it the true self that we tend to hide from.

If you can't think of a word, why don't you try explaining what it means instead of just leaving a blank space?
