I've got a chance to do something potentially stupid...

PCP...
I didn't go out looking for it. I was looking for K, cause I've never been able to find it but I've always been curious as fuck about it. Nobody could find it for me, but finally this one girl I called said she could help me out with angel dust if I wanted that, instead.
I've never had any urges to try sherm, but I'm a reckless idiot sometimes. So as soon as it was offered, that little voice in my head that tells me "but at least you can say you tried it; how many people can say that" started going off.
I really shouldn't take her up on the offer, that's what my common sense is screaming. It probably won't end well. I have some anxiety issues, plus what I assume is a manic-depressive mindstate, along with the fact that I'm only five months clean from roxis and other such opiates. But then again, my common sense also told me not to try hurawn or meff, and I ended up doing both when I had the chance.
So assuming I'm dumb enough to go ahead and give it a try, what should I expect to be in for? Most of what I know about dust is from those horror stories everyone tells, but I'm sure there has to be something pleasurable in it. Or else, why would anyone ever develop a habit in the first place?
And if I do end up doing it, which something tells me I probably will (if not today, then eventually, now that I can acquire the shit), what is a good first time dose? And by that I mean, a safe dose, but also one that will allow me to say I experienced the PCP high. Cause I don't plan on ever doing it again. If I do try it, it'll just be for the novelty factor...so I can cross it off my list, basically.
So yeah, thoughts? Opinions? Experiences? Are there any dustheads in the Pub? Or am I just a soon-to-be lone dumbass?

I'd do it as well. Make a happy stick

we will soon see "topless" nuns sensually throwing their bodies about to the "Missa Solemnis

PCP can result in you harming yourself and others if you're predisposed to violent behavior, have been around violent behavior, etc.
I'd advise you to have someone around that can take care of you if the need arises, and by take care of you I mean restrain you. This "Someone" may well be several sober trip sitters.
Don't spend the rest of your life in a cage like Big Lurch.
I usually like to keep the discussions on PCP balanced and usually I play the role of downplaying the "horror stories". They do exist though, and for good reason.

Well, I've never been much of a violent person towards others. It takes A LOT to make me angry, actually. And as far as being violent towards myself, I guess I should say that I have had more than a few suicidal thoughts in my time, but they've never been full-blown considerations. And a lot of them tend to come as a result of me either relapsing on blues, trying to detox again, or when I'm coming off a large dose of something speedy. I did cut a few slashes on my arm once when I was withdrawing badly on roxis and got into a huge fight with my mom.
But yeah, I guess I'd have to be conscious of the sometimes unpredictable up-down-up-down nature of my mood swings. A lot of that is a result of when I start feeling lonely, or like my life is empty, or just when I get overwhelmed by our society's neverending pressure to be better and get more degrees/jobs/money/shit.
So assuming you're experienced with this drug (I might've read over you saying so, and if I did then I apologize), what exactly is it about PCP that brings out these dangerous violent urges in people?
If I did it, I'd like to see the fun in it. I'd try to be as safe as possible, and not take more than a first-timer could handle, but I also don't want to just waste it taking a bunch of barely-threshold doses over the course of a few hours.
So other than the violence/horror-stories side of PCP, what are its redeeming qualities?

if you like dissociatives, you'll like PCP. It can be a very mind-bending drug and those under it's influence can be rather unpredictable, so you might want to consider getting a good sitter before you try it.

I've only Robotripped on the first plateau.
It's no big deal, in my opinion. I've only done it twice; both times I actually was sick and just decided to go ahead and down the whole bottle (and yeah, I buy the ones with DXM only). Whippits are pretty fun though, for whatever that's worth.
I've always been really fucking curious about ket, but that's it. But I managed to find the dust, instead. Like I said, it's a novelty thing. I don't know how many more times I'll get the opportunity to someday be able to say I found out what the big deal with PCP was for myself. That's how my mind works when chances to do stupid, but also possibly interesting, shit like this present themselves.

if you do try it, try it slowly with very small amounts till you can figure out how it effects you. a lot of the "horror stories" are when people waaay over do it or get slipped a wet joint and dont know it.
