out of my friends, i do the most illegal things by far. and i've never had any trouble with the law whatsoever, not even an mip. Basically all of them that have been have been because of alcohol or weed.

ive been to county quite a few times and the drunk tank 100's of times in my younger years. i actually havent been in awhile and havent been in any real trouble in awhile...
been doing pretty good.

in the end the lessons were good to learn but the cost and time coupled with completely derailing my lifes direction were pretty shitty. i would say between the 2 times i was in jail, dui once and possession charge i spent a little under 20,000$

ive done all together 2 and a half years locked UP. 3 months of those two years was as an adult, for a gun charge which got dropped. ive been arrested 25 or 26 times all together and im only 20. THATS RIGHT, GANG MEMBER!!  "all about the benjamins" XD

Like 2 years ago when I was 19, I broke into, of all things, a daycare center. Well... I wouldn't say I broke into it because I carefully climbed through an unlocked window. I was looking for food because my mom and her crazy bf were on a lot of drugs and mostly just bought food for themselves and only ever gave me cheap bullshit food like cereal, ramen noodles, poptarts, etc.
I cut my hand when I accidentally broke the window of the 2nd building trying to push it open. So I got scared thinking somebody heard the window break and I ran. I had a bag with a plastic container full of veggies that I got out of a fridge, graham crackers and other food I don't remember. My mom's retarded bf called the cops when I came home with the bag of food and he saw my hand bleeding.
Went off to the clink for 23 days. I was so malnourished and hungry that I had grown delusional and a bit crazy. I made the stupid decision to tell them I was possibly bi-polar or schizo and they put me in the "mental wedge" where all the actual crazy people were. Never tell them you have any mental illnesses because the mental wedge will drive you crazy if you stay in there for long enough. Just lots of people getting angry for no reason, talking about December 21st, 2012 and God and Jesus. It's pretty sad. What's even sadder is that they choose to let people like that continue to live and be given a chance to cause more problems.
Then, another time I made the foolish decision to try and pocket a bottle of cough syrup after an interview for a job at a store. I was just desperate for a trip. Went to jail for 3 days, the guy didn't press charges because the bottle was only $4.60. Haven't done dxm in like 4 months, though.
Then, on my 20th birthday, my mom's bf got mad and started screaming at me because my mom told him that the $10 I asked him for was going to be spent on paying for a bag of "k2 spice". After listening to his methraging ass yell at me saying stuff like "you don't know nothin'", I stood up and said "Fuck you" to his face and he got scared like a little bitch and got a wooden stick thing and threatened to hit me with it, so I left and punched out the window in the front of the house and left. He called the cops and probably told them whatever he could to make it look like it was my fault so I'd go to jail. Well, I went for 6 days and finally my mom convinced him to bond me out, and as soon as I got home, I went over to my friend's house and guess what he had? A bag of K2.  My mom's bf has been in jail since August 5th of last year and still hasn't gotten out. He'll be going to prison because -someone- gave an anonymous tip to a cop about his methcookin' ass.
Oh, also went to juve for 11 days when I was like 15 for stealing a laptop with my brother. He dropped them off at a donation station fearing getting caught, but we got caught anyway and some lucky fool got two nice laptops for free.

I've been to jail twice - once for DUI, and again for mushroom possession.
The second time was 24 hours, I wore an orange jumpsuit, etc.
I'd say what really is intolerable is the boredom combined with the total lack of peace and quiet. It's definitely no fun. I hope not to return.

I've spent two. One was 3 hours for marijuana possession (bailed out fast), the second was 28 hours for "intent to distribute mdma" which was actually a single pill of 2c-i when I was not wanting any renumeration.

I've got a pending court case for a legitimate situation of police brutality and overreach. Long story short a gun was pointed at my face and I was verbally threatened with death multiple times by sergeant who had his pistol pointed at my face with his finger on the trigger when I never removed my hands from the steering wheel except when ordered to do so.
I was only in lockup for like 4-5 hours but it definitely sucked, especially since if it'd happened a few hours later I would have been there the entire night.
I've also been locked up for 72 hours before in order to make money for the state. Long story short, an inadvertent episode of trespassing when I did NOT intend to do so and the homeowners did NOT press any charges against me. The worst part about being locked up, by FAR is the indefinite nature of things. Not knowing how long you'll be there sucks more than most other things.
Being habituated to cannabis sucks a bit too. It makes being locked up even less fun, especially when you have almost no appetite for days on end.
Fuck cages. Fuck boxes.

prison really is better than jail, if your gonna be having a long stay.
I was in jail with dudes that were in my cell that had been in the same room on 24/7 lockdown for over 12 months! no windows, nothing. just 20 dudes packed into a cell filled with bunks.
thats when i did 15 days and it sucked so much, like someone else said, the worst part was not knowing when you going to get out.
point is prison really is better than jail.
you get better food, games, recreations, exercise, VIDEO GAMES for fucks sake and the list goes on.

I been to jail about 3 or 4 times
All bench warrants. And they all started with a ticket for weed. I was in college living the fast life and getting tickets left and right while not giving a damn about taking care of them. They caught up with me one by one.
Been to detox once.
One time the cops told me to get out of my friends car so they can handcuff me and take me to jail. We were all drunk leaving a club. One of my other friends starting going off on them. They immediately told him to "get the fuck out of the car" and handcuffed him too.
lol we were both sitting in the back seat of one cruiser handcuffed, almost leaning on each other LMAO. they dropped him off at detox before taking me to jail LMAO

I already told this story here but one time i had a bag of weed that i stashed in my boxers when the cops came to bust us. They took me to jail and i got out with the bad of weed still stashed in my boxers lol. they never found it. We smoked a blunt as soon as i got back.

The fucking bag was in a little compartment that was basically a small panel on one of the arm rests -- not your average console with a handle. Kinda hard to notice unless it was pointed out to you.
Cop asked to search the ride. I said go ahead. He didn't find anything and started to get pretty agitated.
"I'M GOING TO ASK YOU ONE LAST TIME...WHERE THE FUCK IS IT?! If you and your friend here don't speak up, I'm calling the dogs in. And if there is any in here like I think there is -- you're going to jail. Now last chance before I call the K9 unit. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MARIJUANA".
I told him go ahead, call the K9 unit. There's no weed in here officer.
Called his bluff. He left right after (gave me a ticket though for no turn signal).
So for one day...bag 1, officer 0.

I've had 3 trips to jail but never spent the night. For each one, I was pulled over while I had a bench warrant for not paying a fine or attending court. 1st time was an unpaid speeding ticket. 2nd time I was supposed to go to court for a public consumption ticket but didn't show up. 3rd time was for an unpaid expired tabs ticket...

Cinic - it depends on the facility. The largest prisons, and medium-maximum security prisons and jails tend to have the most instances of that kind of behavior. Places like Riker's Island, LA county Jail, San Quentin, Angola State Penitentiary etc. all have many documented and undocumented sexual assaults going on.
Prisons in places like New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Iowa, etc. are going to have relatively low rates of that kind of behavior due to a relatively smaller concentration of extremely hardened and violent criminals and relatively less gang and organized crime influence than places like New York and Los Angeles. I'm not saying it doesn't happen there too, but the rates are much lower and reported cases are sometimes handled with more vigor.
In some prisons rape is VERY MUCH a fixture of the society. Guards receive money to set up situations or to not hear and see things, there are established trading values, known clients, economic predators, self-gratifying predators, and of course individuals who are targeted and abused for money, pleasure or status (reputation/power).
The only reason prison rape happens is because the prison system allows it. Americans tell jokes about "dropping the soap" and "going to prison and loving other men" and the concept is very nonchalantly discussed in popular media.
The disparity in how prison rape is perceived to how rape of women on the street is perceived is startling and disappointing.
But yes, there is also a deal of consensual sexual activity that occurs in prison.

been in once for three days. got picked up for allegedly trafficking marijuana. Mofo's took me straight to county and threw me right into a pod. No holding cell or nothing. My cellie was waiting on his murder trial.
Luckily the cops did some shit wrong and since me and my codefendant never made statements, never took deals to rat, it ended up as a misdeamenor possesion, after being charged with 4 felonies for the 5 pounds we were allegedly caught with.
