What should I do?

If I only have 3 jars, is it worth shaking them up and putting them on the bottom of a monotub? Chances are, they won't even cover the whole bottom, thus it will be an extremely thin layer. Also, I don't have verm or anything to put on top.

Would I be better off just birthing the cakes?

I'm assuming there jars of PF tek?  IF so I would just  birth as cakes and fruit them that way.

^^ He's right. If they're PF jars just birth them and fruit em according to PF tek. I honestly don't know why anybody burns so many spores and LC's on PF jars. Roll with monotub style next time. It will take less spores and yield way more than PF.
