If you really wanna give em a chance I would say move the operation to an outdoor grow, but dont be too hopeful.

Bad idea I should think. You'll only end up with a higher mold spore count in yer whole place. Which means more contams in the future?

The only problem with that is that I live in a very small apartment complex, and my landlord is doing work around outside daily. I know he would notice something fishy if he saw the substrate in one little spot and then saw mushies growing from it later on. Still debating on what to do for sure...may just see what happens with this for a bit and then throw them out
Ollo, I thought about that, and when I made this I was very very careful, and only did it in my bathtub far away from where I work. I stripped my clothes after, used bleach in my tub where the work was done, and then sprayed lysol everywhere in the bathroom. The contam'd jars are currently soaking in bleach and have been since last night. I do understand your point though, and I am not saying that you are wrong

the only thing that will happen is you will get more mold. thats all.
how come so many got contamed? if you followed all needed precautions and they still got contamed its very unlikely that something you are willingly exposing so contam will make it.

I thought that either the mold would take over, or that the myc would grow and eat the mold or possibly make some fruits. I think so many got contaminated because 1. I didnt use a glove box or lysol and 2. my incubating temperature was much too high. 3. My vermiculite is waaay too large.
Once I stopped incubating and just let them sit in my closet, I stopped getting more contaminations and the jars are colonizing faster than they were.

This is going to turn into a disaster for the following reasons:
Cubensis mycelium can't kill mold.
By exposing the substrate to air you allow many more mold spores to land on it.
By breaking up the substrate you spread mold spores and mold mycelium to every bit of substrate.
If you added any air holes to that, I'm assuming that's what you meant by making it a mini SGFC, you're allowing mold spores go escape and contaminate your apartment.
Lysol is ineffective at killing mold spores in the air.
I would serious get rid of that thing.

Already tossed it. I'm such a fucking newb.
edit: I guess now I should be asking if my apartment will be okay. I did it in my bathroom far away from my work area (kitchen). Sprayed everything with lysol, filled tub with bleach, stripped clothes afterward. What now?
