Timing & Tek for outdoor Coprinus comatus : Shaggy Mane grow

Spore Works sent me a LC of Coprinus comatus : Shaggy Mane along with my order (thanks Spore Works!).
Coincidentally, we own two horses that are bedded on wood-chips, so we have an area on our property where we dump manure/bedding. At any given time there are fresh piles as well as piles of varying age.
So, I'm thinking about starting my Shaggy Mane and then taking it out in the spring and fruiting in composted manure. Good idea???
I'm beginning my first grow ever (Blue Oyster and a cube) now. Would I be able to inoculate WBS with my Shaggy Mane LC and then fruit it in compost in the spring?
Questions:
1) Timing. When would I introduce it to the compost pile? I am in western Pennsylvania, Zone 5.
2) ID. As a total beginner, is there any mushroom that would appear in the compost pile that would look just like Coprinus but would kill me instantly?
3) Timing. If I start the WBS too early could I just do grain to grain transfers to stall for time & amplify?
Any other advice appreciated!!!

Im planning on doing a shaggy main bed also this spring. Dont think there are any killer look alikes that i found in my Audubon guide or my missouri id guide. But dont take my word for it. As all good mushroom hunters say "If your 95% sure its safe, the other 5% could make you 100% dead!" Its always best to get a pore print before eating anything found/grown outside.
That being said ill watching this for advise also

1. early to mid spring are favourable. Autumn would work too. 2. No 3. Yes. You can also keep the grain culture in the fridge for several weeks.
I would not use WBS though, but rye or wheat instead. Or, since you have horses, then most certain you have oats?

Thanks svdr. I go to the feed store every week and can get whatever I need. Our horses eat a "modern" pelleted diet.
