Hi people,
Could you guys kindly help me to identify this species. They groom on the day my pastor died, and dead on the day he was sent off. His wife is still looking hard for this species. Would be great if you guys can help.

I have never seen that species before. Maybe it's a leucocoprinus species infected by some parasite?

Very cool looking mushroom! Sorry for your loss. Leucocoprinus cepistipes seems like a good match to me as well. I found some once in a huge mound of garden clippings at the city's yard waste dump. They were like those yummy white donuts with the powdered sugar!

leucocoprinus cepestipes grows from wood debri, and has a smooth stem/cap [img] [/img] I would agree that it is the same dung-loving Leucocoprinus sp. pictued in the observation that was linked

One reason is because once I made the mistake of judging someone in here very harshly based on what others had to say, rather than taking the time to look at what the person was actually up to. I gave him a stinking zero and called him an asshole. To which he replied @#@#$$% @#@#%$ you #$%#%^$%&$.
Which I had coming.
The other truth is I'm super uncomfortable and easily embarrassed by critique, positive or negative. When I was a kid competing in school functions I would pass out or throw up when it was time to receive an evaluation or award. It ain't all pretty but it's me.

I've never experienced this, but had several people tell me about it, they always solved it by opening the link a second time.

It happens to me all the time, and I just found out that clicking it a 2nd time does in fact work.
Funny because I always click on all the MO links Alan posts and they never work, and I'm like "WTF Alan, always playing games with my myco-emotions"
