I recently gave my friend 2 grams of my new batch of gt's to try them out for me and about a hour and a half later he called me freakin out because everything he touched fell apart and fell between his fingers...but the thing is he gave his Lil bro a gram which has now locked his self in the bathroom refusing to come out..haha made my work worth while

I don't know, doesn't really sound like the people he gave them to were prepared for it, and then he didn't do anything to supervise them. Are these parents they are with experienced with psychedelics or just open to them?

I'm not sure but they get some good smoke... but its one gram for each of them Its not like I gave em 5 grams a piece...and their like 23 and 20 grown men shit..well grown up mommas boys its sad really lmao

Honestly man, still sounds like you gave two people who were very unprepared for the experience a dose without making sure there was someone to take care of them. I'm not hating on you or anything, but I would say in the future the most responsible decision would probably be to keep an eye on things personally if you give people psychs.

There are bad trips and bad trips. Seeing everything fall apart when you touch it is one thing, thinking you're dead is quite another. I probably would've chuckled too honestly, yeah he's having an uncomfortable time but he'll be fine in an hour.

I understand that, but come on...if the guy was freaking out because of that he obviously wasn't prepared for it. Whether he'd be fine in an hour or not, it was traumatic to him...and the other one was scared enough to lock himself in the bathroom. I don't find that funny. Not condemning OP for it or anything, just saying I don't think it's necessarily something to laugh about.

Clearly it just kicked their asses. Good shrooms and not prepared to handle a psychedelic, that doesn't seem crazy to me at all. Everyone likes to get all high and mighty because they can dose hard, but I remember the first time I ate 2g of shrooms. I already said, I'm not condemning the OP for anything he did. Personally, I said it seems more responsible to keep an eye on them if you value their wellbeing, but I certainly did not say he did anything wrong. All I'm trying to say is that it seems like a bad attitude for anyone to laugh at someone having a rough time on a psychedelic, regardless of their dose. Fear is fear, and it doesn't matter if it could be worse, it's still fear.

He was tripping hard enough to have visuals causing his environment to melt/fragment. Think about the intensity of that experience to somebody who is unprepared for it. EDIT: I just re-read the post and realized it was actually 1g each. Regardless though, the effects were what they were.

Funny, seems it's less a problem of reading me correctly and more a problem of reading me in the first place since I specifically said I don't think the OP did anything wrong and I never said that laughing about it was childish. I just said that if you are completely misunderstanding someone and/or being condescending you are being childish. You'll have to forgive me if I misjudge the motives behind certain posts, I just get a little defensive when I've previously seen certain people being directly condescending to somebody for having a bad trip and thinking they were dying on 3g.

Yeah, that post wasn't directed as much at you, but that's also how I interpreted OP, as being excited that his latest batch did well. I wasn't actually talking to him about laughing about it, I was talking to people who posted here. All I said to him was that it might be more responsible to keep an eye on people personally in the future since he's probably tripped his fair share of times and would know how to keep them having as good of a time as possible. For example, maybe knowing what to say, he could have gotten that kid out of the bathroom and he would have had a much more pleasant experience overall.
But again, that's all I was trying to say to OP...not that he did anything wrong, just that if I were him I'd do things differently in the future.

i don't really think it was an argument. seems like more of a misunderstanding. i'll be honestly i didn't read the whole thread but the first post was something like "why would you laugh at something like that?" followed by a few posts saying things about being less responsible. i just took it that people were giving OP a lecture on this stuff but now it seem it was just advice on how to make it easier for his friends in the future personally i don't think it's totally necessary though. eveyones gotta to figure out their reactions the hard way anyways

I'm not arguing, I'm giving my opinion. Sorry, I forgot that's not what this forum is about.  I think part of the problem is that people get overly defensive. I wasn't arguing, I was discussing, and then I backed up my discussion when questioned on it. That's the point of a message board. If you just want to talk to people who agree with you, I'm sure there are plenty of other message boards for just that reason.

Some of my bad trips were funny. Some of my friend's bad trips are funny. He has a bad trip every time he takes a psychedelic, but he still takes them. Afterward he laughs with us about how paranoid and confused he gets.
