That is probably one of the most competitive positions in the world for that type of job. John Hopkin's is one of the best schools of medicine in the world.

It doesnt have to be at this certain work place but the job in general is what I am looking at. I know they have those kind of positions all over the place. My dad saw an exercise physiologist at the Cleveland Clinic and they helped him beat type 2 diabetes.
Although I wouldnt rule John Hopkins out for myself.
I am building a superior resume one day at a time.
By the time I apply to somewhere like there I plan to have the following. It should take me about 3-4 years to accomplish the entirety of this resume. I am well on my way already.
-Masters, clinical exercise physiology -CSCS credential -ACSM registered exercise physiologist -Navy Hospital Corpsman -CPR & AED -Personal training experience -Coaching experience -Internships with hospitals -Experience working with the mentally challenged -A lifetime of personal athletic/fitness accomplishments -Bachelors, graphic design (lol)
I would call that a good resume. I am working my ass of to land a job one day doing that kind of thing. I think the first 4 and internships are the biggest factor.
I could get that job for sure. Its just a matter of time....

From jibber jabbering with my dad who works in cancer center administration, the only way to get into a job like that at hopkins is to know the person doing the hiring or someone close to that person. He was at Hopkins in his late 30s in the 90s in upper mid management so he seems to know what's up on the matter. Unless you are a brilliant mother fucker your resume probably won't make you stand out as everyone applying for that job will have ridiculous resumes.

I figure the farthest you can go is PhD. I would like to go that far but I am not getting ahead of myself. First things first.
It doesnt have to be Hopkins. I would actually love to apply to Cleveland Clinic to start. Thats where my dad went. I also would like to look at hospitals down south. I love the south. WARM!
I guess I figure that it should be possible enough for me to get a job somewhere in the United States. If all else fails there is always finishing up my reserve and then re-entering the Navy active duty for the cardiac field. I guess you have to have a degree related to that field before they will consider training you for that specialty within the hospital corpsman job.
I think the most amazing part is the research. I have been reading research journals and I am so impressed at the studies and experiements. It would be great to work for a research company or for a university.
