 Humidity question

Its been 13 days since we set our tub, the myc is growing through it but it seems to have slowed a bit, The condensation that was on the side of the tub has been clearing up for the last day or so. I still have the holes taped up. Should i mist with distilled water or something?

hey, im new too, but have been lurking for a long time and have read a lot.
take off the tape. if you followed the PF TEK and you got the right size holes two inches a part or so, you want all the holes open. to increase humidity, only open the lid no more than 4-6 times in a 24 hours pd.

and mist with distilled water. and right after fan for a bit to cause evaporation. that helps triggers the pins, some say.

Your talking about a monotub right? I would give it a few days to see if it picks up on growth speed more, outline the mycelium on the outside of the tub to watch progress. It may also be fighting off a contamination, so watch for signs of mold. After a couple of days if there isn't any growth, or visible mold then spray a light amount of distilled water.
