Couple questions about storing

I've been growing shrooms using an all-in-one bag and P.C. B+ spores. I'm a few weeks into it, and I have a couple questions.
1. On Thursday I'm supposed to start a 12 on/12 off light schedule for the bag. Would leaving the bag on my desk where sunlight will reach it suffice? The instructions say natural sunlight is good enough. Is sitting near a window good enough for the sunlight to help the bag?
2. The shrooms are meant to be finished growing on March 3rd, a Saturday. However, I leave for home on the Friday and come back a week later. So I'm gonna pick them a day early, but my concern is whether I should store them fresh for a week or try to dry them within a couple hours of leaving. Should I store them fresh in a paper bag in my fridge for 1 week, or dry them in and store them? I'd put them in the oven at 100* F until dry

Natural daylight is great on your desk in the window is great. This product gives you an exact timeline of when your shrooms will be ready? A couple of hours in the oven isnt going to work put them in the fridge and dry them when you get home

I would put a fan on them and get them as dry as possible, then right before you leave put them in a container with some kind of desiccant. Should dry them the rest of the way while you are gone.

If someone can tell me if we can post sources here I'll gladly show you what I'm using. It's not an exact schedule, but it's a good enough estimate that I know they'll be ready to pick either right before I go away or in the middle of the week I'm gone, which is why I've ruled out just letting them sit in the bag another week. Actually, could I just do that? Not pick the fruits and let them stay in the bag for another week?

And just to confirm, on my desk with the blinds pulled back from my window is adequate, right?

Light levels shouldn't change between stages of growth. Light is always good.
--------------------
Actually not everyone was a noob. Being a noob is a very new phenomenon. Many people, the great majority in fact, were simply "beginners", "novices" or "new to mushroom growing". Being a "noob" is reserved, and in fact created specifically for and by, the newer, much more lame generations coming about.

I'm following the instructions for this bag, and it says to keep the bag in a cool dark place, and once it has fully colonized you put it in the light Can I post sources here?

All right, OP back with another question. If my fruits are fully grown and I still have a few days before I go, what would be the best way to dry them out? I was thinking just covering the shrooms with a black shirt, and having a light shine on them...it's got a 13W energy efficient bulb which is supposedly the same as a normal 60W bulb.

Any hardware store will have some type of desiccant that will work for you, but try weighing the shrooms wet, throwing the shrooms (elevated) in with some dry rice, leave them for a few hours. weigh again (too see how much water got sucked out) and change rice as needed. I am thinking this should do it within a few hours. I wouldn't expose them to heavy light. They will take quite a while to dry like that anyway. I have also seen people hang the mushrooms through the grate of an oscillating fan.

Just set em on a box fan. You can break the stems up to dry faster. Once they are 90% dry, put them in a container with some desiccant.

It's very frustrating how there's not one certain way for drying
