Every time someone starts a trippy movie thread, it's inevitable that a handful will drop by to say movies are lame tripping or to go outside.
Some people have A LOT of shrooms and have time to do a little bit of everything. Not every waking moment during a trip needs to be spent outside or "looking at the insides of your eyelids". Or maybe some trippers just prefer a good movie to trip to?
You do what you want during a trip. There's no right or wrong way to use a trip. Wanna watch a movie? Do it. Wanna watch 4 movies in a row? Do it. Wanna stare at the inside of your eyelids or go enjoy nature? Do it. Wanna play Call of Duty while you trip? DO IT. Do whatever. Fuck.

Whats even more annoying is that these people apparently feel it absolutely necessary to enter a movie thread and tell ppl they shouldnt be watching movies.
Its a movie thread. You can always NOT post in a thread you cant relate to.

the television is always a last resort but being confined to an apartment most of the time it has proven many times to be a really cool experience...
The Wall (everyone needs to try it, at least once)
Enter The Void (although i recommend muting and putting on a good psy/ambient album)
The Fountain (kinda slow but some parts will blow your mind)
Eraserhead (if you wanna get weird)
Fear And Loathing (can cause some anxiety but i like to watch during the come up when with friends and meditation isn't in order...)
Fantastic Planet (ha!)
The Song Remains The Same (some cool visual effects and trip scenes)
Paprika
The Neverending Story (epic)
Fantasia (was almost too much for me to handle)
Good trip scenes in...
Altered States

Oceans ("is that really a THING?!")
Journey To The Edge Of The Universe (intense)

Machete was good as fuck on the come up of some strong guys
The rocky horror was so so
Heavy metal was a bad idea, same as The Wall
Office Space and Super Troopers were tops
Due Date, Pineapple Express and Wanted were all pretty good times.
Movies are just child's play though compared to planetariums, even they're not doing a light show. The people are usually cool and have always just let me chill as long as I wanted. It's pretty mind blowing, its open and clean and all the people are actively trying to teach you things in conversation. It's a nice tripping environment
