2nd time i did acid. sitting in the family room downstairs with my best friend at 4am. realising the whole scheme of the government and all that. figuring out how to supress the ego while sober. and really just seeing through allllllll the bullshit. changed my life forever.

there's been a few......
but honestly, probably my first and only candy flip (first time with lsd/mdma, mind you)
An avatar hit & some mdma in a roll. And weed obviously
It was the beginning of a fantastic summer for me, and these drugs were just insane.
I remember coming up from the roll first, and just feeling so simply happy, and then as the acid started to set in, nothing in the world could have been better. It was just my buddy and I chillin' in his garage on a warm summer night, rain coming down. I love the rain 
It looked SO BEAUTIFUL watching the rain run down the driveway and into the street. The way everything sparkled that night just felt like magic.
But then again, maybe 2 weeks later when I took just 2 avatars was a bit more important 
Because I remember seeing and feeling things that night too that my now psyched out mind may never be able to relive. The memories will surely stay though.
Or was it my first shroom trip, first psychedelic experience, with the crew? Was it my intense solo acid trip? Was it my other amazing trip with the crew, similar to my first shroom trip, just with lsd?
It's so hard to pick! I've had a lot of unforgettably amazing times 
Not to mention, I still am waiting to see where I go from here. Chances are I still haven't had my most important trip YET, as I'm far from done But in ways my future is sometimes affected by my psychedelic use, so we'll see if anything changes. At this very moment in time though, I'll probably give it to one of the first two trips I mentioned. First shroom trip could be the unconscious winner though, as it got me into psychs. Shit then you could say first time smoking weed.. I remember that even. Listening to Third Eye by Tool and using my first psychoactive past alcohol. Yea, even that really opened things up for me....

Mushrooms. Dramatic OEV, CEV, and audio hallucinations. Identity dissolved, unbelievable mindfuck. Immediately afterwords I described it as like being strapped to the side of a rocket inside a tornado shooting into the sun during a hurricane.

The first time I realized on mushrooms that sober reality itself is the real trip. It sounds so incredibly simple, but the profundity literally brought tears to my eyes. I realized while looking for this thing, I've been the very thing I'm looking for all along.

I have had many life changing moments with psychs but honestly the most important experience was the first time I smoked weed. I was on tour with my band so I was already in a strange new environment that I had never experienced before, and things were trippy and surreal as it was in that sense. (Those of you who travel, or better yet tour know exactly what I'm talking about). Then I smoked some VERY good weed with my friend from one of the other bands. I took a hit, and went into the van to relax. After ten minutes, I didn't feel any different at all. I was bummed. So I went back for another...and went to sit in the dark van again.
I had been sitting there for a few minutes thinking "I wonder what its going to be like" then at some point I realized I had been having this expansive inner monologue, and thats when the full weight of what was happening hit me. At that point, everything turned into an incredibly terrifying/beautiful dream world, and I went and got lost in a swamp in Louisiana and laid underneath a tree watching the starts shift and form beautiful patterns.
At some point I closed my eyes, and that is when things really took off. I literally watched quantum mechanics happen before my eyes, literally watched the universe being created before me. I went from having a vague understanding of Hinduism/Buddhism to truly appreciating its beauty and truth through one experience.
Looking back I can say it was probably one of the most important moments of my life. A true eye-opener.
