My parents are close-minded as anything. They believe what they are doing is helping to better myself and my future... They think cannabis is terrible, but allow me to drink alcohol which I rarely do. Last time was this fall, I like to be in control of my body and my thoughts.

sorry but that's stupid logic.  i don't know why everyone feels the need to jump on people and disprove them on this site but seriously... even if he's 18 his parents are probably still in charge of all of his finances. he still lives in their house and what not so they're basically still in control of his life. sure he can legally take his phone and drugs and take to the streets and forget about college, but i'd much rather be grounded then living on the streets.
your experience with your parents isn't everyones experience. i got in pretty big trouble smoking pot when i was 18. parents found out, cut my allowance, grounded me, caused family issues for a while, etc. sure i could have said "fuck this i'm leaving," but i didn't have a job, had to finish high school, and had no way to support myself otherwise. would be much better to take a few weeks in my room and a blow to the wallet then take off without any money OR room

Thanks, I could never just up and leave. I actually want a good life for myself and to continue to have a good relationship with my family. I don't want to be that 'failure druggie' that couldn't handle living a productive life and resorts to getting high all the time. Yes, I smoke everyday and find it horrible to stop smoking, but it needed to be done to not cause any more of a rocky relationship with my parents.
It sucked even more that I'm not even experienced that with acid, it was a true test of mental power! Oh, and the worst is the week I stop smoking my friend picks up a half O of hash.. I've always wanted to smoke hash. I'm trying to get him to give me 0.2 to smoke after I'm not getting drug tested, I need my money for L hahahaha!

I apologize for being so quick to think this kid is underage. I also understand that no person's parents are similar in their relationship with their kids but I still find it hard to believe he's 18 or older.
But for the sake of staying on topic I do have somethin to add. OP that is a pretty sticky situation that night, I once had an experience where I was staying at a friends house and the next mornin I dosed some 2C-E and my mom decided to say she was comin to pick me up early, I don't have a car, and she would be there around mid trip and I freaked out cuz I was still new to this substance and couldn't quite handle myself well. Needless to say she got there and I stumble to car and hardly talk bc I just wanna get home plus I'm busy admiring the visuals. She just assumed I was stoned as she knew me and this friend did so together often. I got in no trouble but parents ruining trip plans by intervening sucks no matter the exact situation imo

I believe age is arbitrary, maturity plays a much larger role in drug usage and things with age restrictions in general. Ever since I started using drugs when I was 15(cannabis),3 years ago, I have had a responsible and cautious approach towards them. I researched the hell out of every drug I've taken before ingesting to know what to expect and just to know everything about what I was putting into my body especially if on a daily basis(Again Cannabis). I could tell you ANYTHING about cannabis because I've spent years researching it. I understand age restrictions though, there no maturity meter on your computer, though I wish there was. That way these forums wouldn't be filled with nonsense posts and questions that could be found through a simple search.
Psychedelics + Parents = Not fun. Unless your parents trip with you.

I used to drop acid at like 7pm and have to be in at 11!!!! so would get in just as was peaking... I remember once my mum was offering me and my friend a sandwich and all the stuff in the fridge was dancing about!!!

Yeah, it's kind of a bitch to drop any later than 7 unless you want to be up all night. I think my next trip I'm gonna play it safe and just drop at like 8-9pm in my room. It's not the best setting to trip, but I'll probably just listen to music in the dark and pet y cat like I did when I took 2.
I would never drop of I knew I had to talk to my parents. Behavior isn't really the problem it's more of my eyes. I wish they had pupil-constricting eye drops.

Wonderful report Phenom I loved it! I have been in similar scenarios to you where I told my parents I would be one place and then went somewhere else to get fucked up. Only later to get a call from my parents saying my car is not where it is supposed to be. I used to come home tripping and tell them I was drunk, because I knew they didn't really mind that as much but their heads would have exploded if I told them I was dropping acid at 17.
I spent a lot of my youth grounded or in trouble with my parents before they finally realized that resistance is futile and that my use of marijuana (all they thought I was doing) was not effecting my life in negative ways. Now I am completely open with my parents about the things that I do. They know I have indulged in psychedelics, and I have taken the time to explain to them the difference between drugs like cocaine and heroin, from the mind expanding and ever-loving world psychedelics have to offer.

This is when mushrooms come in handy, if you have access to them. They're more conducive to that sort of setting. You can take them at night around the time your parents are going to go to bed. Assume you do it on a weekend, there's enough time after the trip to get some sleep due to the shorter duration. I suspect that mushrooms are more comfortable to take inside than LSD, too. On acid I've always felt the need to walk or run around. With shrooms I can curl up under my blanket and lose myself with some headphones on for a long period of time.

Wow, man great story! I used to come home all fucked up when I was a kid and it can be crazy trying to keep your composure. Never with that much acid though. Glad to hear that you are not in too much trouble.
