I guess I'm "REALLY lame" then, as I followed this exact same pattern. I joined this forum for some information on growing, and stayed because I enjoy it. After 500 or so posts, I felt like giving back to the community that gave so much to me...

Or maybe they're just giving back for all the knowledge they got from this website. I'm sure many of us wouldn't be able to grow if it weren't for the Shroomery (I've never had the chance to grow my own shrooms yet but I know when the day comes there will be people here ready to help me.) I kinda get what you're saying but well, live and let live 
Maybe some of them are doing it just to fit in but who cares, it benefits the whole community, you, me and everyone else on this website.
