i was wondering what you guys's favorite movies are weither it be normal or high or tripping say what you like watching them on aswell

City of God, definitely a sober film. Portuguese with subtitles.
A Scanner Darkly, could mesh well with some drugs though am doubtful if
tripping would allow one to follow the plot.

My top 5 (consider the fact that I watch a LOT of movies):
1. Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran
2. The American Astronaut (scifi musical western about a trucker in space.. im not exaggerating)
3. Cinema Paradiso (movie about movies)
4. The Time Machine (1960 with Rod Taylor.. homeboy was one handsome motha fucka)
5. Paris Texas (I'm a crying wreak after this movie)
I stopped at the top 5 because it starts to get messy at the top 10.. these I am 100% positive are amazing. The next few I'd put in my list are pretty subjective.

My favorite movie of all time is Fight Club, fucked up or sober.
I also really like Tony Scott's movies. (Domino, Deja Vu, Man on Fire, a few others of his) and other movies by David Fincher.

What work of his have you seen? Herzog's material can be a bit tough to swallow but I am curious about your thoughts and why you can't stand him.
