I just found out that a guy I've been studying/ hanging out with for about a month has a dad who is famous rapper that lives in california.
I can tell he was hesitant to tell me at first because he avoided talking about family for a long time til today, and I don't want it to change the dynamic of our friendship.
Anyone else know famous people or their family members, and you get along with them even though you aren't from that background?

Working as as a sound engineer I know plenty of musicians that got famous or semi famous. Generally if they were nice people before they stayed nice people.

I'm distant relatives with somebody who (barely) shares my last name, somehow, and is some kind of TV guy, commercials and stuff. Never met him though

I went to highschool with Jermaine Gresham: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jermaine_Gresham
He's in the NFL now. I was a freshmen when he was a senior, my sister was his English teacher. He was actually a really chill guy. Huge as fuck but cool. Also, Justin Blackmon is from my hometown. He's one of the top receivers in the NCAA right now and is more than likely going to the NFL. He's a pretty chill dude too.
Oh and some girl I used to hook up with in highschool is related to Don Cheadle the actor.

I've met hundreds of famous people and I'm related to a few, two of my
relatives worked with Elvis for several years, 3 of my relatives are pretty
famous, 2 of which have won Grammy awards, I got groped by Grace Jones at
Club112, attended a new years party at tree sound studios where a friend
worked and have met numerous other musicians and partied with them, some only
minor fame others pretty well known, pro athletes were everywhere in atlanta.
I've dined with Ted Turner at the chinese restaurant that used to reside in
CNN Center and even been in the home of Jane Fonda. she refers to the foyer
of her home as her vagina. she's honestly a crude woman

My grandpa was business partners with Mike ditka in the 80's...the bears used to come over to their house for lunch cookouts and shit..it was cool. I also met morgan freeman in the islands =)
