This is what a contaminated LC looks like

A bad LC looks cloudy when not shaken and this one is fermenting and you can see frothy bubbles. This jar got contaminated because it had a fracture around the bottom. Usually such fractures don't lead to contam, you just throw jar away after use, but this one must have opened up just enough to let liquid get in the crack.
-------------------- Evolution is Lamarckism in disguise. Adaptation never creates a new species or trait, but rather the new species/trait always existed within the parent DNA until circumstances allowed it to be activated. For instance, every wolf has the DNA for poodles, but that DNA would never be revealed without man selectively breeding for it.

I have a couple jars that have some cracks. I'll have to be more careful in the future. Probably should just throw them out now.
