Work is Driving me F'n Crazy
    #15800406 - 02/12/12 09:10 PM (3 months, 14 days ago)

They keep asking me to work weekends... my boss tells me at 5pm on Friday to have this thing ready by Monday morning for like the fourth weekend in a row.

I was so stressed out out Friday that I tossed my cookies for no reason.

Fearing for my health I said fuck it and didn't do shit this weekend.

Fuck it dude.

Computer programming... I don't mind the job, only when I have to work constantly.

Like this week I busted my hump and worked like at least 50 hours--hard work, no bs time. I was so tired by Thursday that I came home, crashed at 7pm, woke up at 11pm, worked till 3am, back to sleep, and up at 9am to work again..

Programmers work notoriously long hours, but I just couldn't take it anymore.

Average salary is about 85K in the NY area; not sure if you consider that good money.. It's long hours and tiring work, but most employers will let you work from home, there's virtually no travel, and you don't have to dress up and/or meet with clients. You have to work with a lot of foreigners who can barely speak the language, which can get pretty annoying sometimes. It's mentally taxing; it's a good job for people who liked Math in school. You also get virtually NO respect from women for being a computer programmer. I'm not sure why; it's good honest work. Maybe someone can explain that to me.

Why is it all good?  Just wondering.  I may sense sarcasm in the post, but if not I am truly inerested in what goes on in being a bill collector.

time to the local church soup kitchen, helping to feed the homeless and
hungry? How many of us, having had the experience, under the influence
of the visionary drugs, of seeing all human beings as incarnations of God,
have gone down to the local hospital to give affection and a listening ear to
lonely patients who need somebody to talk to? How many of us regularly
visit a jail, to provide spiritual and emotional support to confused, damaged
people who have grown up unloved, uneducated and unguided by their
confused, damaged parents

Well its kind of personality really. If I think your a lieing peace of shit or you piss me off I will put a lot more effort in googling your name. Finding your facebook or myspace or your linkdin. Then there are grudge suits. Were we serve you and take a default judgment against because you really really pissed me off. Like srsly you called me and I am suppose to suck your what because I did not give you what your crying ass wanted?
So then once we have the default we can subpena your tax records and oh there were you work bam garnishment.

And no matter were you go I will eventually get around to subpenaing you again because you really pissed me off. It literately brings me perk to pursue the specific people who piss me off. It is the only perk to the job lol.

It really allows me to see just how shitty people are. Like man people call just to say they are never going to pay it. So its like wtf are you calling me for. I see you work at Microsoft you cocksucker. Bam sued.

Well it means you owe it for the rest of your life. And can be sued on it for the rest of your life. You will always have people coming after you the moment you default.

I think its kinda funny when people disc their number get a new one and I call it a few days later.
