I agree with OP, but let's get something straight, there are carcinogens in cannabis SMOKE, but the chemicals inside, like CBD, and THC, cause Apoptosis in cancer cells, such as brain, lung, breast, and leukemic cancer cells.
That said, my favorite ATI commercial is the one where the kid builds himself a cocoon out of cannabis. I wish i had that much cannabis.

I agree that some of this shit is funny, the funniest is that some people are so dumb as to believe every word of it, when the truth is right under their noses. Some people will never learn though, unfortunate souls.

The quote didn't even imply that it was causing cancer. It just said, "Marijuana smoke contains 50% to 70% more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke." I mean, c'mon! Above the Influence needs something to work with.

It seems to be addictive in the sense that people- usually teenagers- suffering from depression abuse it excessively to escape reality.

well by stating the fact that it contains carcinogens in a list of reasons not to try pot, they're kind of implying to uneducated people that "pot causes cancer." it wasn't just random information they felt would be good for a game of trivia. it was a strategically filtered version of scientific data to promote their agenda.
and we're all guilty of that to some degree, but at least what we say is spoken from experience. i don't understand how you can run an anti-drug campaign if you weren't a drug user. maybe some of them are, but most people i know speaking out about this stuff act like they know everything about it then proudly exclaim "i've never touched a single drug in my life!" well then shut up your opinion doesn't count even the ones who did do drugs were usually meth addicts who regret their choice to use meth then go back and blame all the drugs they did on the way up there as well.

I got that off the DXM FAQ on Erowid. Dumb teenagers will be dumb. That Dextro kid on here, trips sooooo often of that shit it's insane, I don't understand. That drug makes me feel insane, I have to piece reality back together each morning afterwards. I also don't see how seeing double still 12 hours after ingestion is fun.
