Dried Squid
    #15789155 - 02/10/12 03:28 PM (3 months, 16 days ago)

A pretty awesome asian store just moved into town and I went and picked some stuff up. I was wondering if anyone has any good recipes or has used dried squid in the past for cooking and if so please pass on your experience. (I can pick up other ingredients if needed)

Place a big chunk on the stove to warm it up and make it nice and tender. In Korea, it is often dipped in mayo or gochujang and goes well with a nice beer.

I will try that. I have an uncle who is half Korean that cooks it in some spicy sauce but he hasn't returned my call yet. I think the sauce is that gochujang. I will have to run back to the asian store to see if they carry it. I was also thinking about cooking some in some sour soup :crazy2:
