Is dubstep anyone else's choice of trippin music? If so what are you favorite songs and artists to bump to? I'm looking to broaden my dubstep horizons when I trip.

well what do you like to start off with? i dont really know what to say if i dont know what artists you like because the genre is so diverse and big

well some of my favorites are Mimosa, Skrilex, Bassnectar, Nero, Deadmau5 for some trancy stuff, Benni Benassi are some of my favorites

this is the best shit to listen to when you're tripping. just heard about this guy awhile ago. i don't really listen to dubstep much these days, but this guy Feed Me is the SHIT.
he's not exactly just a straight dubstep dj, his style's pretty unique compared to most producers these days.
and he has a ton of songs on youtube that have trippy ass visuals to match the song all in 720p. i spent a pretty good amount of time listening to some of his songs and watching the videos jammin out on a few hits of lucy one night

I'm not liking much of the "dubstep" in this thread. 
Heres a couple that are really sick on shrooms if you have a nice sound system/sub woofer.

I guess dubstep is just blowing up quickly, I've liked it for the last year or so, but had no idea so many other people were into it also. Granted this community probably enjoys it on a deeper level than most of it's new found fans

Dubstep + mdma is always bomb but not my choice of music to trip to, but I have enjoyed the music of Phutureprimitive while tripping - enough dub to feel good and slimey with enough melody and ambience to make a good soundtrack to any trip

I'm not much for the screaming-in-my-ears bass or the [quintessential] bassdrops when I'm tripping. I gravitate more towards chill, low freq, oscillating stuff. Check out Distance , Sukh Knight, Benga, Mensah if you're more interested in that kinda stuff.
Other artists have gems that I like that are more low key as well..."Nuke em" by Datsik, early Zeds Dead tracks, some Mimosa, and Minnesota has some chill shit as well.

I like most dubstep sober, during a Salvia experience, or while rolling face at a show.
But to me, Dubstep on Psilocin/Psilocybin or LSD is fucking terrible, unless its psydub like Ott/Bird of Prey or "dub"step you know how it was before with actual "dub" i.e. reggae.
Much rather have punk/crack rock steady/jazz/celtic/ambient/world music while tripping. The "robotic" sounds don't jive well with the frequency of the substance needing more natural tones.
But that's just me.

I felt the same way at first. A dubstep song came and it was just loud and uncomfortable. All that change one night when I tried a solo trip for the first time. It became so indescribably amazing. When I'm outside the experience feels very natural and earthy, but this time i was indoors so I wasn't really around any nature. Mushrooms have a very high-tech alien side to them as well, which was a primary motif on that trip. Dubstep went perfectly with that, and every sound seemed to play off the others like the music was dancing.
