Talk about confusing. Search retort and you find companies from india and china. Can anyone guide me in a direction? A dealer in the southeast us. I am looking for one that is 220 V and could run 10-20 bags at a time.

All American makes a 220V 41 qt sterilizer. You would need two of them at least to make your goal. I have the 110v 75x and I really like it.

Yeah, I got 3 of the 75x's and I'm very satisfied with them. Each one can hold 6 full bags.

I was considering buying two of the 75x but wondering from an efficiency and convenience standpoint, if it wouldnt make sense to have a single larger one. Aleon, does it come with a basket that will fit six bags? Anyone else know anything about larger hard wired 220v or even 330 v autoclaves? ANy help would be appreciated.

You're not going to find anything brand new that has twice the capacity of a AA 75x for less than twice the cost. Medical equipment is always ridiculously expensive, even used stuff it usually way too much.
If I was looking for used equipment I start with Market Forge. They make a nice autoclave with a 16" x 26" chamber, it's almost twice as deep as a 75x (15.25" x 14.25"). The problem is even used they go for over $2000, so unless someone is basically giving it away you'd be better of with two brand new All Americans.

Market forge also makes commercial kitchen equipment. They have a steamer that looks almost identical to their autoclave. I know one member on here who picked one up for $60 from a restaurant.

They also make a larger pressure steamer that operates at 5 PSI.

Keep in mind that these units are considerably more complicated than the All Americans, have to be hard wired, use way more power (12,000 W vs 1650 W), and aren't usually setup for our purposes (most will dump pressure at the end of the cycle).

took the plunge and went bought a AA. Figured I will always use it for grain jars even if I ended up needing a commercial unit later on for bulk sub. Or even better, put together a steam boiler like RRs.

I use my AA75X sterilizers for grains and my outdoor homebuilt sterilizer for bulk substrates. The cart came from Uline.com RR
