The game changes are old news, but seeing that Blizzard threw that into a presentation is pretty heavy. 
On the other hand what is your take on this? You will die, Blizzard promises!

I'm not sure what to think of that. Whoever is playing that monk was horrible. We also don't know how it was geared either. In the beta I never saw it tick down nearly that quick. But again, the monk was being played pretty stupidly. If I had to guess the whole point of the video was to show the red globe dropping super quick.
Thats not to say I don't think it will be hard though.
I do find that Leah is with the monk in this video interesting though! I'm glad we will get to see her later in the game as well.

it will, but it will probably be cracked relatively quickly for offline play

Oh yeah the game will be plenty hard enough if you want it to. Also, some gamers are complaining about the game being "simplified." Such as how your health and mana are static as you level, and there isn't like a skill tree thing anymore.
However, I disagree. What they see as simplifying I see as convenience. I like how I have access to all the skills and can change my builds on the fly, it's so nice! No more tank mages though 
Also, blizzard made a short TV ad that sends chills of excitement down my spine.

Anybody who believes the game is simplified or dumbed down just because you can't make a broken character by allocating stat points WRONG is a fool.
Diablo2 was a linear growth model that made all but three skills for each class literally useless and /or outright inferior in the final difficulty. Diablo3's model is percentage-based, and as a result all skill runes will remain viable options in some setup. What this means is instead of seeing 500,000 Hammerdins and 500,000 Blizzard Sorcs we'll be seeing a wide array of the skills utilized. There are way more synergies, and just looking at the skills any experienced gamer should know that.
Basically the first of each five will be inferior; the other four runes represent a flat trade-off with unique effects, different enough to consider each new run a new skill for practical purposes. Does my loadout need mana-vamp? Health vamp? More damage? More defense? All of those questions are going to apply to every skill.

But there is no penalty for making decisions. The game makes them for you.
Pretty lame. It didn't even feel like diablo.
Oh, that commercial, that's supposed to be the lord of terror? That's Diablo?  He looks like a chump compared to previous game versions.
I only care about the storyline at this point and I don't expect much from that. Maybe they downplayed the storyline in the beta IDK but it seems like rushed dialogue.
EDIT: So this thread inspired me to go read about any possible spoiler leakage and I'm shutting my mouth for the time being until I play the game. Maybe the story won't disappoint me.
