This whole idea of a laboratory full of beakers of chemicals, huge snapping electrodes, and a white coat with government or corporate overlords is Hollywood fanciful, but is hardly where the majority of science takes place.

Do a search on the word 'lab' or 'laboratory' and 'lab' for this forum and you will get ~1500 hits. Most of them used by a MH when the OP never used the word.
