My unconscious' preoccupation with my childhood home

I keep dreaming about my childhood home, in the outer suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. I often venture outside and things get very interesting - surreal. People ride by on bicycles with cyclops head-dress on. Sometimes it looks like I'm on mushrooms. The dreams have become more coherent and realistic as my nerves and brain have healed from extensive drug use. Last night turned lucid and lasted about 15-20 minutes - my first real lucid experience. I turned on showers to keep warm, caught my brother smoking weed, got into a car packed with food that was DELICIOUS, ate some corn chips that were just MINDBLOWING and which I could still sort of taste when I woke up. There was a guy and some children following me around trying to keep me from doing anything so I asked a friend who I found by accident to kill the leader. He broke his back and he may have died, it looked like a special forces move. Not long after trying to steal a car I woke up, and sort of went, wooooow.
But why this home?
The count must be 20, 30 dreams about this place. Many semi-lucid but quite chaotic.
--------------------
Find me in the backyard, sailing my kettle. Playing poker with insects, wearing a cup of tea. A hat of brimstone, yellow-crimson, looking like a giant flea. Forever my friend: so my energy this day I lend, I practice faking it to pretend, and become the actor in the end. My folly hangs on the trees like leaves and drips in the falling breeze, the tock of a minute here shakes me to my knees.

after recently moving I found for a period of time that my dreams would be about my former home. I felt like it was a connection between my struggle trying to get situated and my fear of having to move back. The dreams brought me back to my childhood home in a form that I remember when I was very young.. like a particular statue being in my backyard that we havent had for almost a decade.

Hmm.
I'm thinking in my case it may be a motif for "starting again" which is sort of what I'm doing at the moment.

maybe it's the last time you were truly home. coming home to the self and coming home to a physical location can oftentimes go hand in hand.

Or the counter to that, a desire to stay in the comfort of "home".

We're raised with the idea of home.
I've never found such a mythical place. And the real Rastafarians know the home they long for isn't Africa, it's the true home.
Home is way over the horizon. If you still here, you're not home.

The great majority of my dreamscapes occur around the house I grew up in and I'm 58 years old. My parents took me to see it being built when I was a toddler. We moved in December 1955. They sold it in 1985. I went back during a high school reunion 20 years ago and a little kid saw us looking, got his mommy, and she invited us in to look around. We were strangers to her - very nice of her.
I buried my dog in that yard whom I had from 2nd grade to college. I got married a few feet away from where she was buried 9 years later. I got drunk, stoned, and tripped on Windowpane all for the first time there. The people who populated my neighborhood from the age of 18 months of age lived around that house, including my best friend whom I spoke with an hour ago. He and I are karmic brothers, born 9 days apart, similar in appearance, who met 12/1955 shortly after I moved in. My only real astral projection took place from my bedroom there. I made love to girls there. I began nursery school, public school from that location. I played around that house, yard, neighborhood and nearby brook and woodlands as I got older. My brother was conceived in that house. It was idyllic. We never had to lock our doors. I am concerned that my post-mortem astral body may be drawn there, and I've considered having some of my cremation ashes scattered there, to pay homage to that umbilical to this earth plane..
All I've given are associations, not reasons. My childhood dreamscapes involved that house, and my years of lonely science experimentation from age 10-17 placed me in that single car, heated garage for my formative intellectual years. I have hundreds of thousands of memories including watching the last Howdy Doody show where silent Clarabelle said "Goodbye kids." My parents were always there. Recently, that house sold for almost $500,000. My parents sold it for $150,000 in 1985, and bought it for $21,000 in 1955. It's been remodelled. And here it is. I wish I could buy it back:

If I ever have a lucid dream.. I always breakout and do something insane while I still have a chance to before I wake up. Perhaps your recounting times of your youth like you may be doing now with your current life situation.. and if you deem its time to start over, then thats exactly what their implying. The dreams will be of whatever meaning you make them out to be.
right? am I wrong?
