Dont trip with some friends who wont respect your experience. Dont trip with a bunch of other people, it only takes one bad trip to set off a domino effect.
The list of things not to do goes on and on. Basically dont do anything dumb. And if things start to go bad, just remember that you are on drugs and eventually they will wear off.

When I first started eating shrooms i was under the impression you couldn't have a bad trip. I've never had a bad trip either but maybe that's because of the mind set i carried. If something goes down that would normally ruin your day sober then its gonna ruin your day if your tripping. something I would avoid while your experiencing shrooms is driving. If your doing it with friends or other people make sure there chill peeps. sketchy peeps makes for a sketchy trip. Avoid eating a really big meal, just recently my lil bro ate a bunch of pizza and them ate some fungus and six hours later it all hit him at once after everyone was back on the planet. if your gonna do it by yourself get some good tunes(assuming that would be TOOL for you  ) or a good funny movie or take a walk through the woods. I like to groove out playing Nazi zombies.

You hit the nai lon the head with the walk in the woods it's my favorite place to trip but it's not for everyone if your kinda scared of animals and stuff I'd steer clear of it and a quiet beach at night is a favorite for me as well.
As far s music goes it depends on what mood I'm in sometimes Tool and sometimes Pink Floyd and I can't sit still long enough to watch a movie unless I was already watching it when I started

No such thing as a bad trip in my opinion but that's just me 
I always make sure to hide my phone or turn it off. I always seem to get very emotional and want to call people I haven't talked to in a while.
Not really bad except it's hard for me to make English happen when I'm on my usual 5+ gram cube dose haha.
Hide your phone or better yet just take out your battery, if you really need to call someone you will be sober enough to put it back in. If you can't put a battery in your phone, you shouldn't be using it.

One time I ate about 6g of mush and my car alarm kept going off, I started to freak out so I took a hammer to the battery. Now my face looks like mush.....but the car alarm doesn't go off anymore!!! TRUE STORY!

i prefer mushrooms over LSD. i have not made it pass a level 2 though. this next trip im gonna take a little more. my girlfriend had a level 3 trip her second time. im a little jealous.

In my experience it just takes sincere wanting to go to that place. Or, you could take all guessing out of the equation and just take 7+ grams all at once. Take a large enough dose and it'll pry open your flesh machine and drag your soul right outta there. Just be prepared, mentally and pnysically, for the journey. Once you buy the ticket you have take the ride. There's no getting off in the middle. That is both a good thing and potentially a bad thing...depends on you.

edit- After reading, I just wanted to clarify that I'm not suggesting that anyone, especially newbs eat 7+ grms of dried shrooms. I believe this should be entering that realm of what they call a "heroic" dose. But everone's different. I have friends that think that's the minimum. I can go over the rainbow with 3grms or less sometimes.
Point - RESPECT THE MUSHROOMS. It's not weed where you'll just fall asleep if you go overboard.

I had a lvl 3 trip not to long ago and it was awesome. One day I would like to up the dosage, but I need a little bit more time before opening that door. It's amazing how much you can learn doing them with your bf or gf. I did them with my boyfriend and we talked about religion, our relationship and lots of other stuff. I could actually feel the love around us like it was a bubble. I couldn't stop laughing at first though. It was like I knew what was happening couldn't be true, but it was happening. I laughed so hard I was crying and my face turned completely red. I would walk into a different room and it be a completely different world. Almost like a dream. I LOVE SHROOMIES!!!

i need some help, i got 3 cases of pan cyan and a few jars of em but the cases stalled out. im thinkn about steeping them to make a tea is this method efficient enough to have a psychedelic experience

With the mycelium? Not sure that's going to be the best idea. I don't believe there's any, or enough of anything in there to do anything but make you sick. If you've gotten this far you can find a way to fix your stalled substrate. Hit the "search posts" button at the top of the screen and find those answers instead of looking for pearls in a clam.
Here's what a simple wiki search would have found you:

Trust me, it's all been tried already and we'd know about it, if it worked.
