 Royal Beluga Sclerotia 15g = insane first time experience

I had a box of Royal Beluga scleroia truffles (15g) in Amsterdam and it was the most insane experience I've ever had. I have taken shrooms before (3-4g) and every time I have really enjoyed the experience, but these truffles were something completely different.
In the beginning I had some insane visuals. I saw sound and when I looked at the TV it began to pixelate and fall apart and everything was constantly moving and morphing. I took them with a friend and we had the TV on when we were eating them and I noticed the people on the TV were always either talking too fast or too slowly and never at the correct pace. Suddenly I realized that even I wasn't going at a normal pace and it felt like my mind was moving too fast and my body couldn't keep up. Then I went to lay down in bed and listen to some RJDJ, an app for iphones that listens to the sounds around you with the mic and morphes them into something really trippy. This app is what might have put me over the edge.
I soon had no idea what was going on and I didnt know what was real and what wasn't so I turned off the app and took my headphones out of my ears thinking that this would help calm me down. It didn't and things just got worse. I kept thinking that I was forgetting to breath and this made me panick. When I said something I was never sure if I actually said it or if I just thought it and vice versa. I felt that I had to keep calling my friend's name (he also did a box of Royal Beluga) to make sure that I was still in reality. Then my friend though he saw a mouse so I went to get off of my bed to check and I thought I checked it out, but then I realized that I hadn't even got out of the bed yet and that me getting out of bed had just happened in my mind. I did this a few times before I actually got out of the bed. Then the craziest thing happened.
I went to look out the window and I thought that I fell out of it and died! I had to keep asking my friend if I was still alive and he kept telling me that I was but I didn't believe him. I genuinely thought that I was dead. Then the people who were sharing a room with us at the hostel came home and me and my friend felt extremely uncomfortable around them for some reason so without a word we just left and went outside. All the while I still though that I was dead and it was really starting to freak me out. The fact that it was cold and windy outside and that we were just in t-shirts just made things worse.
We had bikes rented for that day, but we both agreed that there was no way that we could ride them in the state we were in. Just crossing the street, which was not busy at all, was scary as hell. We began walking around the block and soon realized that we were lost, but we kept walking anyway. We came by a basketball court and just walked right by it because it looked like there were some sketchy people there. Somehow we kept walking by the exact same basketball court no matter which direction we took and I still do not understand how this is possible because there is no way that we could have both imagined that.
We were both beginning to get really worried so we decided to look for some orange juice because we heard that the vitamin c is supposed to help calm your trip, but we kept forgetting that we were looking for orange juice so we never found it. Then I began to hallucinate.
I knew that I was hallucinating because I saw the exact same thing that happened when I was sober a few days before. A few days before I saw a black man get out of his car with two mean looking dogs. I remembered this senerio because the man looked just like Snoop Dogg. I know that I hallucinated this because everything happened in the exact same way as it had a few days earlier. I only wish I would have asked my friend who was with me what I was actually looking at.
Later, to make things so much worse, it began to rain. I wanted to make sure if I was alive or not so I began asking my friend questions that there was no way that I could answer myself so that I knew if I was making him up or not...yeah, it was fucked up. Then my friend told me that he had to piss real bad and soon he was hopping around like a dog about to piss himself and for some reason he didn't think to go into some shop and find a washroom. Instead he just ran away and I was left all alone in Amsterdam tripping by myself in the streets. I still wasn't sure if I was dead or not and I knew I was hallucinating things and now I was alone. I was terrified.
I started walking and everything began to scare me. I made sure to stay on main streets with lots of people because I was worrind that someone might kill me if I wasn't already dead. I saw a hobo with a stick yelling at a lady on her bike ahead of me. I didn't cross the street because I though that this would offend him and he would beat me with the stick so I just walked right by him. It was so scary because I thought he would stab me or knock me out with that stick when my back was turned to him, but he just looked at me and didn't do anything.
The rain began to pour harder and I was soaked. I kept seeing the same signs and buildings everywhere so I thought that I was doing loops again, but I think that they were just hallucinations. I was looking for my hotel because I was soaked. I kept seeing familiar things so I thought that I was near, but I did not get my hopes up because for all I knew those could have been hallucinations too. As I walked I began thinking more and more that I might actually be dead and that I would never find my way home and that I would just be stuck in these endless loops for eternity. That was a very scary thought so I said to myself if my hotel is not around this corner I'm going to find a taxi.
Sure enough, my hotel was around the corner, but I did not get too exited just yet because it just seemed too good to be true. I went inside and got in the elevator. I checked to see if I was still tripping by looking at the wall. It bulged and sagged. I was so worried that I would get to the room and nobody would be there and that I would never see anyone again.
You cannot imagine how releived I was when I walked into that room and the two roommates and my two sober friends who only smoked weed that day were there to greet me. Just seeing them there and talking to them put my mind at ease and I no longer thought that I was dead. This was at around nine pm and we took the truffles at around three pm. It was six hours of solid tripping that, in my mind, felt like an eternity. I was completely exhausted and I just felt like sleeping. My other friend who took the truffles with me returned about 45 minutes later. He said that he ended up pissing in some bush in a park.
All in all, this was the most insane thing I have ever experienced and my friend says that it was the same for him. He says that he will never do truffles again. As for myself, I am sure I will do them again sometime in the distant future, but for now I am steering clear of that.

Wow, thanks for the trip report, that sounds pretty insane alright!
I've heard the "Royal Beluga" sclerotia mentioned a couple of times on the Shroomery. It sounds like they are a very potent product - presumably sclerotia that have been allowed to mature and gain extra potency before being harvested.
With this kind of "special edition" stuff, 15g is a heavy dose that I would never contemplate doing outdoors in a city. The crucial bit of your experience is this -

Tripping indoors was a good idea, but it's unfortunate you had to share a room where you didn't have full control over your tripping environment. Outside, I think you did well to hold things together and avoid freaking out in the street somewhere.
I can understand the "thinking you are dead" thing - that level of weirdness is a bit too much for an outdoor scenario. It's cool that you made it back to the hotel in one piece 
It sounds obvious, but I think you would have enjoyed the trip a lot more if you'd been able to chill out in your room instead of pounding the streets in the rain. I'm glad you haven't been completely turned off by the experience, I guess it's all down to the having the right setting for the dosage you are taking....

Yeah, it probably would not have been bad at all if those people, who were strangers to us at the time, had not come into the room. When I was still sober I remember worrying that they might come in while we were tripping. We should have planned it out better, but I am glad that I experienced that either way. I know exactly where you are coming from...
I have just returned from Amsterdam and my friend and I also took a 15g box of Royal Beluga.
I have done many types of acid in my life and would consider myself an experienced user although not a frequent one.
However, after trying to be clever and taking the strongest stuff we could get our hands on in Amsterdam, I have honestly had my bottom spanked. The Royal Beluga is the most intense visual/body rush I have ever had. At points I was need of a priest. Unlike you we actually had the forsight to organise our own hotel room, with I-pod and docking station with enough inspirational music to see us through, even then it was still super intense. Going into the red light district on Royal Beluga is suicidal. You would probably find yourself under a tram/bicycle/car before you new what had hit you.
If anyone fancies taking the pepsi challenge on Royal Beluga, then my advice is don't. If you are a seasoned psychonaught then make sure you have your environment perfect and keep saying to yourself "I only have six hours of this"...
Not for the beginner :-)
P.S. This has not put me off tripping, I just now know my limit...

I have to agree with my good friend ChrisHorse.... these are not for the first timer.
The text in the Smart Shop window read "Astonishingly strong, long lasting visuals. Intense Inner Joy!" Well, you could not accuse them of false advertising as these babies did exactly what it said on the tin!!
In regards to the intense inner joy- I must admit I found myself writhing on the bed in spiritual ecstasy, and I truly did feel like I could talk with the shaman.
I will definitely do these again, as long as the environment is right. It could be the most amazing experience when done right, but out on the streets is not the place!
Highly recommended to those with some experience

can anyone compare these to dragons dynamite? iv heard they were good but now iv changed my mind after reading this! which is stronger?

truffles are fantastic, I've tried them many times in Amsterdam, just pace ur doses next time, I started with increments of 5g every 30-45 minutes, had a blast..better luck next time!

Ive enjoyed both dragons dynamite and royal beluga. Both are equally strong i would say. DD gave me more or a greenish orange trip and RB game me more of a blue and red trip, if that makes any sense  ...

So is royal beluga mostly like a brand name? It has quite an appealing name. This adds an item to the bucket list and an extra day to my Amsterdam dream vacation.

Yes, basically. There is a company called Sirius Products that market a range of sclerotia labelled under the "FreshBox" brand. They sell 4 sclerotia products in their standard range (Space Shuttles, Dolphin's Delight, Golden Teacher, Cosmic Connectors) and 4 in their "Special Edition" range (Purple Rain, White Diamonds, Royal Beluga, Mothers' Finest).
The names themselves are just random names, although they do have some kind of correlation to the real types of sclerotia. The "special edition" range are more potent (for example, stones that have been allowed to mature for longer before harvesting). The names may be silly but the trips can be absolutely ferocious.
