Boosting trip experience by doing yoga or/and meditation?

Hi Shroomery
So I am going to trip for the 2nd time of my life, I currently started to do yoga and meditation to boost my experience in the trip, I know some of you guys would tell that i am looking for a spiritual and blissful side of the mushrooms, and that is exactly what I want to do.
The question is, is there anyone here that have done this before or is currently doing it to have a better experience?
In my opinion it should boost a mushroom trip big time since yoga and meditation focus on self discovery and relaxation of the body and mind. What do you guys think?.

i did the exact opposite.. sufferd psychosis.. slit my wrists spent 4 dAYSIN THE ICU and then sereneity... so there are two ways to it lol

Meditation and yoga are not always relaxing you know? I strongly advise actually knowing yourself and your body better and having some experience in those before adventuring in psychedelic mindstates with them. Your ego could easly hang up on those procedures,and you`ll have to fight a really reinforced ego out there,if you`r aiming high.
But everyone is different.
Start low dose and build from there,also I would recomand non-stimulating psychedelics,or adding a relaxing but not very sedating side to the trip,teas or low dose opiates or wine or whatever you`d like :p
Actually I`ve got a moderate experience in meditation techniques and I honestly say to you that I hate meditating during psychedelic experiences.I always do it before,and after. Only exception to this would be low-medium mimosahuasca,it really puts me in a meditative state. I`ve introduced 5 friends to mimosa a month ago and all I did really for 5 hours was to sit on some logs and watch the leaves glow with light ,they were freaking a little and I couldn`t do anything. ( damn backache after that).

I have had a few experience with mushrooms but nothing big, only low doses and 1 dose of 30g fresh that why this is my real 2nd experience. But now now I am doing 3.5g of homegrown mushrooms. I dont plan to meditate in the trip tho I know it might be really hard to focus concentration since mushrooms just send your mind twisting at 100mph lol.

I enjoy meditating as soon as I dose for about 20-30 minutes. I don't do it to enhance the spiritual side of the drug, but because I enjoy the feelings of calm and relaxation that it brings.

I've been meditating on psyches on a weekly basis for over a year now. I always come out (at least 45 mins later) relaxed and calm with amplified visuals. I always enjoy the trip more after meditation.

I have had some intense yoga sessions on LSD before. The acid helps you really go deep into the awareness of your body and your breathing down to the most subtle levels. Meditating while tripping is still the same goal; just being aware. The added intensity of awareness can help the focus on the breath, mantra ect but you really need to have a good foundational practice otherwise it's easy to get distracted.

I often do an hour mediation before I dose... Part of my ritual for the 'day of' It not relaxing... More centering... Helps with my mind set...
I have not attempted yoga or mediation during, have a hard time with coordination and complex tasks. Have heard some folks can reach a deeper state though...

Firstly, orange juice! Boosts the trip. Second, the placebo effect is big in this. If you think you're tripping, you're TRIPPING! So ya the meditation can help, all you gotta do is think about the trip

meditation is deff good during a trip and life in general but i mean... when I eat shrooms its like I go into meditation as the trip. Entering into a deep headspace, awareness, is what mushrooms and other psychedelics do for me. Yoga is awesome while tripping!!! DOing some yoga after smoking dmt allows me to stay in hyperspace alot longer. Its same for mushrooms, going within goes within. Let me just say if you want to boost the trip, meditate and do some yoga in the mornings and/or nights starting now. To allow you to begin clearing your head and setting the tone. Nothing is ever perfect, when your mind wanders its natural, dont attach to the thoughts thinking that you need to engage them or that they bring anythign other than whats already here and now. I also suggest doing some reading perhaps... to prime your mind for new connections and conscious expansion. I could recommend a few books if you want. Dancing and drumming are also active forms of meditation and can help you enter into trance or atleast just tap in to the mushroom and let it flow through you. Music.... theres some music that can SERIOUSLY boost a trip, designed to guide you and aid you in psychedelic experience to achiving trance and deep introspection, consciousness expansion. The music I have been listening to my past few trips I cant even begin to describe. But after going through a music meditation with an album or 2 during the come up and into the peak.... when I take headphones off the music doesnt stop... I recommend Dymons- Druids Brew and Cosmosophy- Organic Space Age. Both those albums if you want a really intense trip. I have download links if your interested.
