 Help make my tattoo!

My brother is an apprentice at a tattoo shop and is quickly getting customers. He really wants to give me a tattoo, but I don't know what to get!
That's where you come in  I had an idea, but I want you all to criticize it and add to it, so I can make this tattoo the best it can be.
My idea is to have a film strip, starting at my ankle, wrapping itself around and up my leg. Each frame, in sequence, will commemorate the most memorable event of each of my trips. One trip to one frame. Lots of color, normal looking film strip to be a contrast. Some frames may even spill over into others, making it flow more easily.
My body is now your canvas!

That sounds pretty cool, anything you get make sure it means something to you, I have gotton a few tats without really thinking about em to much and regret it now.

Thanks for the comments/compliments!
But there's nothing else you would think about adding?
I even thought about making the film strip made out of memorable words/phrases from each trip. But I think that it won't make the strip look/feel like an actual film strip.

I think the images are enough for it, like you say it wouldnt feel like an actual film stip, and maybe it could get more simbolic just with images

I would like the film strip to be photo realistic, but the images of each frame to be kinda new school.
I imagine the people being fairly minimalist, but the actions and colors will take all the detail.
