What makes you laugh?
I find absurdity to be funny.

I found the Saturday Night Live's Harey Carrey skit extremely funny, until I showed my girlfriend and she didn't even crack a smile and looked very confused. That pretty much ruined it for me after that as I sat there feeling dumb for going on and on about how funny it was only to see how not funny and confusing it was to her.
I tried to explain why it was funny as if that would make her laugh or something, but it just was futile.

I watched the first Scorpion King because I was curious what the Scorpion King was cookin'. My expectations weren't high for 3, but that's okay cause those movies don't take themselves too seriously anyway. I'd take back the time I spent watching the latest Conan before I took back Scorpion King 3. Scorpion King 3 at least had some tigers, elephants, and flying ninjas, and they did a good job with the sets and locations. Solid B material.

@OP i dont lol very often, i obviously have a superior sense of humor.
one of my fav comics is andy kaufman:

circastes said: I hate the crap that makes the air. Terrible. Except some of BBC3's stuff like The Mighty Boosh and Snuff Box.
mighty boosh is clearly a homoerotic odyssey flirting on the borderline between homosexual curiosity and fear. it is about Howards repressed lust for Vince which becomes manifest through weird or 'queer' dreamlike fantasies where he usually ventures out on some search or desire for 'something', only to be confronted some kind of 'monstrosity' and escapes to return at the end of the episode to the status quo, with Vince at his side. this palpable sexual tension between the two main characters is what sustains the show and fuels its 'weirdness' and humor. notice the abundance of homosexual jokes and total lack of female characters...
just sayin
