Google chrome Doesn't like shroomery's SSL !!!!

This happens when i enable SSL, Please advise. Thanks
The site uses SSL, but Google Chrome has detected either high-risk insecure content on the page or problems with the site’s certificate. Don’t enter sensitive information on this page. Invalid certificate or other serious https issues could indicate that someone is attempting to tamper with your connection to the site.

This thread was moved from Science, Technology & Computers.
Reason: Technical discussion on the Shroomery systems fits better in the Feedback forum.

Weird, took me a while to figure out. This happens if you try to view a page over HTTPS when you aren't logged in, and you get the error page that says the feature is only available to supporters. In that situation we don't load our CSS or Javascript using an SSL connection, which is the "high-risk insecure content" that Chrome is warning you about.
Then, even after you log in, for the rest of your browser session it will continue to show the broken lock icon, because it's using cached files which were retrieved insecurely. In theory you should be able to fix it by forcing a reload of the page, but that didn't seem to work for me. I would actually classify this as a browser bug. At the very least it's extremely unintuitive.
But it's easier to fix the site than to fix Chrome. The error page now uses SSL for all embedded resources and you shouldn't continue to experience this issue. The worst you should get is a mixed content warning for some threads; in Chrome that's the lock icon with the yellow triangle on it. But please let me know if the problem persists.

WHAT? You don't have a private number you can call and tell them to fix their shit?
Don't they know who you are?
Outrageous!

This :
Google Chrome has detected problems with the site’s certificate. You should proceed with caution because the site may be pretending to be another site in order to trick you into sharing personal or other sensitive information with them.
Is the reason that this : happens.
what does pretending to be another site even mean ? i hate it when technology makes things more complicated.

1-Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar. 2-Select Options (Preferences on Mac and Linux; Settings on Chrome OS). 3-Click the Under the Hood tab. 4-Select the “Check for server certificate revocation” checkbox.
And i did ... but nothing changed... so it said this :
If you still don't see the organization's name, it may be due to one of the following conditions:
The website might not use an EV-SSL certificate. EV certificates provide extra assurance as to the identity of the website, but not all websites using SSL use EV-SSL certificates. The website might contain security errors, such as mixed content or expired certificates. The certificate revocation information may be temporarily unavailable from the server.

If you're still experiencing this problem, could you please hit Shift-Ctrl-J on a page that has the broken lock icon, and copy and paste any errors from the debug console? In particular you'd be looking for lines like:
Quote:
The page at http://www.shroomery.org/ythan/chromebug/ ran insecure content from http://www.shroomery.org/ythan/chromebug/example.css.
I'm also curious if there are any other supporters who use SSL and Chrome and are still encountering this.
