I'm sure you can find brown rice. Just get that and powder it yourself.

A bag of brown rice costs like a buck... Just dump it in the blender and grind it up, works great. That's what I've always done, I can't find BRF here either. I like to leave it a bit on the coarser side, not real coarse but not a fine powder.

I don't think I've ever not seen it in the flour isle of a grocery store, thats odd that you can't find it, sure you're looking hard enough and in the right place?

i have trouble finding it in my area as well. If it comes down to it go on amazon order arrowhead mills organic brown rice flour.

natural foods or health food stores
They have lots of grains,BRF ect. They usually have agar too.

I didn't even bother to look for it really, I bought a bag of BR for 99 cents. It was a breeze to grind the whole bag in my coffee bean grinder....it seriously took less than 10 minutes. Although, I wouldn't recommend a food processor, I tried it out before the coffee grinder and I wasn't getting anywhere near a powdery consistency.

They sell it at most major grocery store chains. I always have to ask someone where the hell it is, though. It's not where you'd think it would be.

yeah, cheaper to just buy a bag of rice and grind it in a coffee grinder, herb grinder, or even a blender... Coffee grinder works best...
