Fantastic! Marasmius is one of my favorite and yours are beautiful.
The Protubera sabulonensis looks like something from Alien.

Those yellow gills are stunning!
What kind of plant is that one with the two rows of pitcher-looking things? Very interesting.

We ate it, tasted that way too.
It is a stinkhorn that never opens up. The spores are identical to Phallus. It should probably be reclassified into one of the more well known stinkhorn genera.

Thanks. That plant was growing at the institute of ecology in Xalapa, right outside of Dr. Gaston Guzman's office.

Me too, I wish I knew what it was. I found that species twice on this trip to Veracruz.

Neither, the stipe is yellow underneath and has a thin layer of gray.
