Habitat: Burnt tree, bushland
Gills: No gills, what looks like a sunflower yellow sponge
Stem: 15cm, thick, yellow to pink towards the top
Cap: 10-15cm diameter, pink and scaley
Spore print color: Not available
Bruising: not available
Other information: not available, did not touch, sniff or lick just curious

It looks like a Boletellus. Perhaps Boletellus ananas or Boletellus obscurecoccineus or maybe something else in that genus.

I don't know a lot about Boletes and your area is super unfirmilar to me.

Thanks for that, it seams to be similar to the Boletellus obscurecoccineus. there foes not seem to be much on a number of the Boletellus species
was definitely in awe
