Does it provide euphoria at least? I read reports on erowid that it was quite the stimulant but if it's no stronger than coffee it must just be for looks then? Either way cool looking plants.

Many report euphoria, its not the same as coffee. I should take a pic of my outside trees. I will be posting a pic today of another group of plants.

Here are my 2 biggest plants. There is some underbrush lower down. What looks like a third kat in the middle is a branch from the one on the left. The plant in back has some red and orange leaves.

I've chewed a few leaves but i'm not into stims. i dont even drink coffee. The 2 big ones are over 6' and i've topped them several times or they might be twice that. No flowers yet and i doubt i'll get any but my caapi flowered and so did my voacanga one year so you never know. I'll post my latest caapi preflowers when the pic is ready.

Here is an updated pic. Some have red stems, some are red all over. One little one is green and i forgot to include my big green one which is about 8". These are all seed grown. I just got a new batch of seed in.

I have seen cold make my outdoor plants turn red but these have been inside all winter. They seem to get redder with maturity. I see the ones with red stems and green leaves have some leaves starting to turn red. I think they will all turn red except the ones that are completely green.

From what I've seen the cold only turns red plants (those with red stems and red new growth) redder/more purple. Plants with white/green stems don't turn red at all when exposed to the cold. In other words all of your plants except the one on the bottom right express the "red" phenotype and would have their leaves darken dramatically on exposure to the cold whereas the one on the bottom right would be relatively unaffected as it express the "green" phenotype.

This is pretty sweet!  I've always wanted to try some ever since a friend came back from Kenya raving about it.  Growing looks like fun too.  Do you live in the US?  If it's not inappropriate, may I ask how you got ahold of one?  No sources, just in general.

I just set mine by the window but you can use floros. My outdoor ones have survived freezes but i dont know how much cold they can take.

What is interesting is my indoor ones have not been exposed to any cold and they are turning red. One is kind of beet red all over, you can see in the pic and the others are getting that way except for the green one. The leaves come in green and turn reddish.

I use a fluro grow light for my khat seedlings and cacti seedlings etc. They cost next to nothing to run. My larger khat plants love full sun.

When it turns red it's considered to be more potent. From what i've read. So you must be taking good care of them.

we will soon see "topless" nuns sensually throwing their bodies about to the "Missa Solemnis
Rock"? Satan smiles and says he would like that fine - many nuns are very pretty girls with nice legs." -La Vey- Aka The Black Pope
