Is this good bridgesii or am I just weak? Or both?

I had my first trip on a 16 inch Bridgesii about a year ago. I am just now posting this because It never really bothered me until now. Anyway I made the tea by cutting it into stars and blending and simmering about 4 hours. After about 2 or 3 hours after ingestion I started getting very social and hyper. Then before I knew it my vision was enhanced and the colors were sharper. I never once saw any visuals but I completely lost my sense of time and 8 hours past like a minute. I had a weird body high feeling and I honestly thought I was in 10 places at once. I had no short term memory really but nothing was hazy and my ideas on life and the universe were irrelevant because I thought I was the universe and everything in it. That feeling of ultimate oneness. The only bad part was my brother gave me a clown doll and I kept lifting it up and looking at it and then I would immediately forget I was holding it and I would lift it up again and see it and scream. This seemed to go on forever but I don't really know for sure. I also thought I was the couch for a few mins. I never felt I lost control but at times it was so intense that I thought I would. This lasted about 16 hours total but I started coming down at about the 8 hour mark (I think).

My question is: Is this a typical response to a first time trip or will it always be that intense? I mean it was great but it was more of me kind of freaking out then the contemplative experience I was expecting. I still thought it was fun but if I could have controlled myself more I could have reflected and learned about myself more. I will do it again though and I have a few potted Pedros and Bridgesii that are growing for future use.
