you might want to re-pot them with soil a bit higher, a lot of the root is showing, not good for it

jds! sure, will re-pot them, root is showing as it has no space left.
teefizzle, lostinnc, of course i won't eat, what are you thinking?!  now, really won't anytime soon, I'm frantically fond of them, have other cactii in mind for that purpose, t. pachanoi and t.peruvianus.
locky, these cactii have 3 baby buttons coming up! spectacular fungii with animated photo! have some spores here to try out, will read this forum in order to succeed. Tried once pftek with no success, it was a strain ... Golden Teacher, perhaps, or was it Teonanacatl. Didn't colonize the cake and it was somewhat of a downer after so much effort and expectancy. And yet, I am still to eat my first mycelium , not to say it doesn't frighten me somewhat.
