I'd like to play, Feb 9th. I sometimes get one or two growing in our basement, but I doubt we will this year, too dry.

Well, a couple people are already out of the race. The south has been in the 70's recently and soil temperature is around 53 - they just need some good rain and the warmer temps to stick around.

i went to my usual morel spots today just for fun, the trillium are out and red buds are starting to bloom wont be long !!

You guys can call this but here in indiana we had some days of right at 60 degrees. well the rumor started shortly after that there was a morel found. after a little searching, here is the photo that was posted.
supposed to have been on jan, 13th. I can say it was warm enough that everyone had brought out their motorcycles that week.
