Started this thread so that hopefully it turns out to be a comprehensive guide to finding magic mushrooms in the Sacramento Area as well as alternatives to getting magic mush. Primarily this is geared towards the Sacramento Area, but if you have expert advice or live in Cali feel free to chime in. Who knows we may have Private Patches popping up for community members only via GPS coordinate invites.
If you have had such luck finding Psilocybin species in Sacramento it would be much appreciated by all if you could post some high definition pics with the exact GPS (Geo Tagged) location of your finds. At the very least it would be helpful to have a good description of the location so that others can visit.

From a bit of research here are the native Psilocybin Active species for California(San Francisco to the Oregon border)
If you need field guides you can easily find them at the piratebay, isohunt, and many other such torrent sites.
In the unfortunate event of a dry season have you had much luck getting spores into Cali? If so the community would like to know any tips, tricks,or methods you may have discovered to get the goodz anonymously.
Bottom line, get magic mushrooms cheaply. Whether it be from finding spores in the wild for an indoor grow or finding a way to get quality spores into Cali, let us know!
7. No requesting or revealing specific locations. Locations NOT allowed: Business names, government buildings, shopping centers, pasturelands, when specific directions are given to a location, or any place with an address. Use common sense about what might be considered a specific location. When in doubt, do the moderators a favor and just don't say it.
In addition, sharing the exact location of an active mushroom patch is a very bad idea. If you do that, the next time you visit there won't be any mushrooms.
