does anyone from the shroomery like to get up on the hill? i'm lucky enough to live in British Columbia so of course i ride, hell the school used to take us up to learn! i bet they still do.. anyways ya, who shares the love for the snow?!

I love to ride. Just learned last winter. Its a blast of a sport. Too bad there isn't any decent snow this winter.

omfg, so much snow now. its still coming down. been like 3 days straight. no sign of letting up either. now if i was just close enough to drive to a ski resort on this snow day from school.

Been trying to get into snowboarding this season.
Hadn't been out in 2 years.
Just starting to get my confidence on the snow (that I can cruise without cutting into the snow too hard and eating shit).
I've been snowboarding in Colorado, but the snow there is icier than California FFS.
Snow already!!

Last week when I was in CO, they got a few inches.
And they got a half inch this week.
Nothing in the "feet" though. 
Need to head up from Utah to Idaho!!

My local mountain finally opened up. Im about to scrape some wax off of my board and get it ready for Sat. 
Finally snowboarded black diamonds last year, whoo those were hard work. I think I may stick to the blues this Sat. I still have two minor snowboard injuries that Im babying.

ive gone out once so far this season, just hasnt been snowboarding weather really yet
im from boston so we got some good stuff out here in northern mass and NH, Maine, and VT
lol this thread made me wanna go boarding so i just asked my friend if he wants to go tonite for some nite boarding
going during the night is soooooooooo much better

I went today. We've had 4+ feet of snow dump on the mountain where I go. Needless to say there was some powda.

By the end of the last season I was pretty good at black diamond runs but today it was foggy and I was at a mountain I'm unfamiliar with. I spent almost all day on the blue squares. Still good powda though.

I ski as much as I can, usually get up there 60-100 times a year. Right now I'm taking a week off after spraining my knee and ankle on opposite sides. Skied a line a little too aggressively, and hit a rock right under the surface with WAY to much speed. But hell, sometimes its nice to have an excuse to sit on the couch and drink beer

No. I do them sometimes, but they arnt as fun for me. Too much work. Plus I have no insurance so I just took it easy on the blues.

i like to start off the day with some blues and make my way to black diamonds...im pretty cool with most single black diamonds

I went up the other day. I live 10 minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain here in NC so I go up quite a bit. I just wish the slopes were bigger. It ain't Utah that's for sure. It's also shitty because of the fucking tourists. They come as soon as we start blowing snow and they come every weekend after and clog our already crowded town. I once waited 45 minutes to get on the lift and I can get from top to bottom in like 1 minute  Not to mention half of the tourists are learning how to ride so there's just bodies laying everywhere and people wiping out like crazy all around you. I just stick around the black diamonds. I have a k2 Anagram board with whatever bindings came on it. My boots are the tits though. I have the drawstring laces by Ride. Those boots are so hassle free.
