What makes you say that? I think people have been finding cubes for a few weeks now!

Well No pics like New's but he did inspire me to go out there. let me just say...one of the most amazing days of my life, I spent all day surveying... And decided to travel ALL over the place, and basically guys you were right all along, You will find them if you look hard enough! I found lots of cowpies!! My heart was beating so fast... i was in somewhat of a panic and rushing adrenalin as i approached the cows / cowpies ( again sorry for the hunting newb-ness ) I didn't find any growing shroomies but I also didn't go in too deep into one of my locations because I was by myself..
The rush was so intense!! I even found an amazing parking space!! Now a few questions if you guys don't mind.
1. How long should a drive be to a spot? mines around 2+ hours? is that too much ( Just a general rule of thumb? should it be super close? )
2. Should Trespassing signs scare me as much as they do ( no I'm not a child... but shit ) I still did it anyway but was curious if the feeling ever goes away even if you are in a safe location. ( and no worries i'm a respectful hunter)
3. Is there a way to tell if the cows are treated with anti-mushroom food?/medication?
- Cheers everyone thanks for the responses in advance and sorry of these questions are against any of the rules.. I read them 2wice

1) I would say that you can very likely find cow fields 30 minutes from you instead of going 2+ hours. That is a looooong way!
2) Ignoring trespassing signs seems to be part of the trade. Consider though that the signs have officially warned you, and in Florida you can immediately be cited if caught. There may be public grazing lands around if you can find them. Some state or national parks are used as public grazing areas, but I am not sure which.
3) No. I am not convinced that (m)any farmers actually really do that anyway.
Welcome to the Shroomery!

Yea 2 hours is quite a distance, i drive maybe 30 or so minutes to a public grazing place when you can literally go there any time of the day but if you get caught stealing wildlife you get hit with a small fine. I would recomend maybe taking a look at google maps for your area can be helpful

Hey yall. Found a cube no bigger than my thumb that had been growing for quite some time during that cold spell we had in the beginning of jan. I lemon tek'd that sucker on an empty stomach and it was a fucking monster. I was tripping way hard, a level 4, wasnt expecting much and got blindsided.I dont know if I even want to mess with the things anymore. The strain was transplanted from cow to horse poo/shavings from another location,(i know ill get someone saying thats not possible, try telling that to the mushy.) Im telling yall this because i wanna know if the cold might of made it super potent or what?
Also got a quick question about talking about locations. If i were to ask about a certain State park and if anyone has been out there and what have you, would that be allowed? Im just curious because i walked it and didnt find anything, so maybe someone has some tips on that area.
Edit: My picture is the mother of the monster... 1.1g of her and i was feeling a level 2 maybe 3, so maybe its just the fittest.(Survival of the fittest + More nutrients + plus harsh weather + long growth = ?)

At no point this year did I stop finding cubes.
Well, now that I think about it, there was a period of time where I found so many goddamn copes, and wouldn't wait for the cubes to come in. But I think they were there

You know what's sort of ironic? For the longest time, I thought that the Panaeolus type of shrooms were poisonous, I guess because of the way they looked and smelled. After coming on shroomery, I'm all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I missed out on so many P. cyanescens. Sadness...

No but I think I'll head out there when I feel conditions are good. I enjoy hunting too much to give a damn about a suspended license
