hi all,
was hoping to give bridgesii a first try. I've been looking over some cuttings but wanted some opinions on which of these specimens looks best/authentic? would this likely be a sufficient amount of cacti for my girl and I?
Bridgesii 1

Bridgesii 2

I appreciate any help. Thank You.

I'm afraid we do not allow links to non sponsor websites here in the Ethno Garden, this includes auction sites. A link to the forum rules>here If you want to use a picture from a non sponsor page then just embed the picture into your post. I've edited your post, included the pictures and removed links.
I would suggest bridgesii 2 for amount of cacti you will get for the price. That is plenty for you and your girl.

Go with bridgesii 1. Ive ordered from the same vendor and was extremly impressed with the quality and power of the cacti. Worth every penny.
Im not sure of your tolerance level, but those bridgesii are really strong. Safe journeys!

...thanks for your input as well.
Turns out I went with bridgesii [1]. That's good to know, I certainly hope so. We're SO stoked for this opportunity. I thought I'd never get to experience sacred cacti.
...24" each oughta do it

Brigesii usually has long spines like #2 and that would have been my choice.

the bridgesiis in the first pic only had their spines cut by the vendor. I got some like that in the mail and they started growing long spines after a while and on the new growth

I hate it when they cut the spines. although it makes it easier for consuming, they look ugly if you want to plant them

To be honest, I disagree. By cutting the spines, it also makes them easier to handle in my opinion Plus, they grow more later.
If it turns you off though, I wish all of them to have perfect spines for you.

2ft of potent cacti, unless it's skinny, seems very excessive. I hope you've got a healthy heart and a flexible brain.

That's good to hear. I'm hoping for satisfactory results with this order, after which I'd like to try the other Trich's from this particular source.

Perhaps you're right. I'm not exactly hellbent on 2ft. I guess we'll see how much tea I can manage to get down to begin with anyway.
b.t.w. How are the pachanoi cuttings?
