I am actually thinking of making it to the electric forest this year. A thirteen hour drive is a lot shorter that trying to figure out the logistics of getting to burning man.

I went to ultra in 06 and 09. 06 was fun but 09 blew. Rampant cops worse than suwannee and pretty terrible crowd. Music ends at midnight every night and no one gets more than an hour except Carl cox. A Di need more than an hour to develop his set imo. Plus no camping blows hard. That's half the fun!!!! Miami is insanely expensive too. With the explosion of edm its gonna be frat central. Mehhh.

I wish I could make it to bisco again. That's where it's at. That whole weekend was fucking insane. If they dispensed with the garbage brostep and their respective fans, that would be the best east coast fest for sure. I'm interested to see how all good will be this year with the new location.

i REALLY wanna go to electric forest this year
the lineup for ultra might be a little better, but the fest is hella expensive including a hotel room and u get kicked out of the festival at like 11 or 12 until the next day and have to fend for yourself for 12 hours
FUCK non-campout festivals, im fucking done with them...id rather stay oin one spot the whole weekend and not have to worry about driving home or to a hotel or sumthing...not only are campout festivals less expensive, but they are more fun and typically have better drugs
this summer i wanna go to EFF, Bisco, and the Big Up, and maybe another smaller festival in upstate NY if they have it again...i def pkan on traveling to colorado to meet a friend who is moving there soon and idk what ill be going there for, but im DEF gonna set it up with some sort of show/festival, def wanna go to Red Rocks

but that festival NEVER would have sold out in one day if it wasnt for the house and dubstep...tDB still invites that kinda music bc they want a big crowd and know they cant do it themselves LOL
house is alright, i need mine to be electro house tho...regular house is way too tame for me...its gotta have that dirty grimy bisco feel to it ya know? for example, I think Jack Beats would be a perfect house set for camp bisco

I would love to go to Electric Forest..It's a 16 hour drive but it will probably be worth it, I just don't want to go alone.

Uh... I have to COMPLETELY disagree with everything you said.
I fucking HATE dubstep, with a burning passion. It is the biggest piece of shit I have literally ever heard try to pass itself as genre of music. I would rather listen to top 40s pop.
I also absolutely love house, blues, and jam bands. So no, I don't think that was even remotely an appropriate analysis. Some massive assumptions you're making on nothing.

For real. Btw...they're talking about getting either Daft Punk  or Justice to headline with Bisco this year. They'd both be dope but I've heard nothing but rumors about Daft Punk playing a festie for the past two years so I'm not counting on that.
