Ohh man, it's almost 3, no work today and I haven't eaten anything yet.
I'm gonna make some BACON & EGGS! Fuck yes.
I like my egg over medium and my bacon kind of crispy but still kind of chewy. I'll be using Natures Harmony eggs and some center cut bacon. Plus whole wheat toast with some land o lakes buttar.
Pics will be posted shortly.
How do you guys like your bacon and eggs?

thats probably my favorite meal... I love my bacon on the border. Slightly crispy yet still somewhat soft. I always have myself some salsa on top, sometimes with guacamole & cilantro with a piece of French Meadow Bakery bread to sop up those yolks.

Sweet, one of my favorite plates too. Salsa and avocados sound great.
Mmm maybe some hawaiian bread.

I like mine cooked in the bacon grease, keep the eggs on one side, nice and crisp, and a juicy yolk, lots of Tabasco sauce/malt vinegar, salt and pepper. oh with some rye toast and butta.

I like my bacon, pretty close to raw, cooked hot enough to kill anything, but not crispy at all and eggs I'll eat anyway, raw to overcooked, but I like them at room temperature.

Over easy. Its funny but I used to hate yolk period, now I love it drippy for me toast. Plus I like cheese on the eggs, pump a little more fat, sodium, and cholesterol in it.

I recently figured out how to poach eggs. I like to layer toast, a potato pancake (Wolfgang Puck's recipe), two poached eggs, and bacon. Gooey goodness.
I did the Hollendaise sauce thing, but it wastes too many egg whites. I can do without it.

Something you should probably know...
There's something that goes even better with eggs than bacon. It is broccoli.
In a small skillet, sautee the broccoli in extra virgin olive oil (just cover the bottom of the skillet in oil) add salt, black pepper, and towards the end, a good squeeze of lemon. I have this lemon and orange zest grinder with salt and black pepper mixed into that I like to use.
But yeah... cook it however well done you like it, and after your pallate is eggified, try some of the olive-oil greased, salt and lemon-tanged broccoli.
It has the same sort of acid salt bite as bacon, except if you ask me the flavor is so much better and more satisfying. And texturally more interesting.
Since discovering this, I haven't had bacon. It's been many many months. I think my body is thanking me for it too. I stopped having nightmares about winnie the pooh butchering piglet alive, too.
Try it! Seriously grade-A combo. And you definately don't have any come-down like I've noticed with bacon or sausage. You'll feel lighter and more energized.
I like my eggs scrambled, just salt and pepper, and a touch of onion powder and ground chili pepper.

I think Brocolli loses nutritional properties when you cook it in a pan, Try steaming

I don't buy it, I think your body hates you for not feeding it bacon!

As long as you're not browning it or warping the shape of it I think it's pretty much that same as steaming. The idea is to soften it up and soak up some olive oil and lemon juice. Get the golden rain all up in that rainforest. Have you ever eaten a greasy lemon rain forest?
