Habitat: Bush, shrub and sandy terrain. During the rainy season so it all looks green!
Gills: Sorry I only have photo to go on.
Stem: Huge
Cap: Giant
Spore print color: Very important!
Bruising: I've a feeling it's edible!
Other information: At least you can get a pretty good look at stem etc from the photo.

A Termitomyces species, if it is not photoshopped. I have no reason to believe that it has been.
Good picture, I haven't seen it before.

i know that is a doctored photo b/c spongebob squarepants was banned in Zimbabwe
edit: but seriously, i believe it has been doctored, the shadow that the cap is casting across the kids head would indicate the sun hitting from a much lower position and direction in the sky than the other shadows in the picture indicate...and why is it copyrighted?

That sounds about right! I would 'guess' that it's Termitomyces titanicus because they knew it was edible and well, its so large. Thanks for the help

Nothing looks unnatural/photoshopped in that picture. Some mushrooms are just friggin' huge.

That kid looks like it's struggling to keep it up as hard as an average American drunk after a coke binge.

I've seen this before only a few days ago. It would be good if it were real as giant shrooms are awesome.
The picture was on a demotivational picture that said something along the lines of trip for a year of die?

Looks like it's a wine cap (Stropharia rugosoannulata), and a monster at that.

Hey
So I quizzed my ma with the who, where, when etc and it was taken from the Tongabezi Safari Lodge FB page. The lodge is situated near the Victoria Falls. They were asking for help with identification and so I've past on what you told me. Thanks very much Alan Rockefeller.
