How ironic...
    #15491071 - 12/09/11 03:34 PM (1 year, 5 months ago)

Ironic, how they call the hunter a villain because he preffers fresh meat from the woods, killed and taken care of by his own bare hands instead of the breeded, tortured, processed and plasticwrapped meat you find in the grocerystores...

Well done Humanity...

Yeah, well, there's people who hunt for the wrong reasons as well as farmers who care very much about the welfare of their animals.

I do see what you're saying and I agree.

Caring about animals is easy when its convienent, but when it interferes with our lives it gets easy to justify inhumane treatment.

If i was to hunt and kill any wild animal first off it would be in a survivalsituation if anything, also i will make sure nothing goes to waste, meat, skin and bones will all be used. The animal didnt die for no cause.

I mean, I just have a hard time untangling the ethics of this situation.  If everyone who is alive hunted to eat we would quickly go through the remaining wildlife and lots of people would have to eat farmed animals, or else starve.

Well if it helps u to untangle the situation, i am not talking about everyone who is alive, i am talking about myself and what i would do in a survival situation.. Fishing works great too...

What's your point?
If you like hunting, then hunt.
It's not unethical and it's not illegal if you follow regs.
You can poach if it's for legitimate survival. (no, being broke and unable to afford food doesn't count).
If found poaching your best bet is to run towards your.. "rescuer", yelling "THANK GOD YOU FOUND ME, I've been lost back here for weeks!!".
Umm, don't really do this.
